> 24 hourClearly I haven’t used this yet so the review is more about the idea if it works as claimed. Hopefully I never have to use this but it is good insurance to have. I love that it is small, doesn’t expire like fire extinguishers and you can hang it where you want or need it no pulling a pin or trying to unhook the holder when you are in a stressful situation, simply pull the tabs and the blanket comes out. I plan to have one in the car, and each barn on the farm.

> 24 hourThis is one of the items you. It with the hopes of never needing them. I have a few other fire blankets from a different source. These seem comparable so I am assuming they are made well.

> 24 hourThis comes ready to mount to a hook or screw in your hazard zone. If needed, pull on the black straps hanging off the bottom and out comes the blanket. No, I did not try fire suppression as thankfully I didnt need to. It looks like it works but I cant say I tested

> 24 hourGrease fires are bad. Grease fires handled the wrong way can be catastrophic. With the amount of heat given off, getting a lid on a pan of burning grease can be intimidating and challenging. This is important because when the adrenaline hits - and it will - fine motor skills generally go out the window. This blanket increases the chance of successfully coving the fire as it relies only on gross motor skills. Your exposure to heat and fire is minimized as your hands and arms are shielded from the fire and heat. Operation is simple - just cover with the 3 x 3 blanket, turn off the heat, and leave it alone until it cools off. I would go a step beyond the instructions and also recommend calling your local emergency number, just in case. Its better to have the pros come out and make sure there is no fire extension into or above your stove or cabinets. $19.99 (at the time of this review) for two blankets is cheap insurance. Give the second one to a family member.

> 24 hourThe blanket is securely held in a easy to transport or easy to hang package, and it would be good to keep these in a place youll remember to find it. The tabs that stick out of the bottom are for pulling out the blanket quickly, and this would work well in an emergency situation. The blanket is large and should be enough to protect most full size adults. This should also be able to suppress a small flame if needed. Good to keep one in the kitchen and keep another around for the car. We are happy to have this on hand.

> 24 hourGreat size for the kitchen/grill. This 40x40 blanket is a great size to cover a standard 4-burning stovetop or outdoor BBQ grill. I was surprised at the thickness. They feel very sturdy and I have no doubt they will smother any small stovetop or grill fires. Much easier to use the a standard fire extinguisher. Ill be keeping one of these by my stove, one at my grill, another as a spare, and giving the fourth to a family member. Great value for all that fire protection!

> 24 hourI sure wish I had this 20 years ago! I stupidly almost burned our apartment down when I left something on the stove. When I saw this, I just had to get it. Hopefully, we will never have to use it, ever. For peace of mind, every household should have one or two. The material is woven, and it feels somewhat soft. When you first take it out of its bag, it does have a plasticky smell, but its not too bad. Naturally, of course I havent used it to say how good it is, and hopefully I wont find out! Again, every household use have one.

> 24 hourA few weeks ago I was driving on the interstate and saw a huge ball of fire on the shoulder. As I got closer I realized it was an RV on fire! The truck pulling it had unhooked the hitched and pulled forward, and the owners were watching it burn. I called 911, and the fire department was already on its way. I could feel the heat of the fire as I drove past. It was really sad! I have often thought that I have little fire protection in my RV-and in my home. I saw an ad on social media for this product, and took the opportunity to do a little search and found this product. I will keep one in my kitchen and one in my RV, and will hope to never use them . . . but will have them should the need arise. I think this just needs to be a staple in every place where famlies gather and cook, for safety as well as peace of mind.
