I finally had a chance to use it this weekend( the first hottest day) and the cooler didn’t cool at all! I put the ice block and it served as fan and not a cooler. We did all the trouble shooting and it was not working. I have another swamp cooler by another brand. I Wanted to try this one since it was smaller and newer. I wanted to like it but it didn’t do the job.

It’s a nice unit but does not work in high humidity.

I hate writing reviews for the stuff I buy on Amazon but I feel the need to write about this evaporitive cooler. It was well packed and had no damage. It was very easy to get it from the box-to-working. From unpacking to working was three minutes. It holds a HUGE amount of water and it blows hard on high speed. I live in Texas where the weather over the 4th of July was over 100 degrees for the entire three days we partied. Also, the humidity was near 50% the whole time. Even with all of that, the guests (21 of them) said this feels like a full-on air conditioner. I agree! I bought two of these items and couldnt be happier. They work well, blow hard and they are very quiet. With the swing function the units cool off a huge area (500-600 ft/sq) and they carry an enormous amount of water. In three days we only needed one refill. Add ice to the water and the air gets COLD. PRO TIP: Keep the boxes and packing. In the off season the units are easy to re-box because the box design is a Lift off type and makes storage easy. Evaporative Coolers usually feel like they are blowing cool moist air at you. These units just felt like cool air with no added moisture. Buy this thing!

Great unit. I had an issue and emailed support. I received a quick reply and my issue was fixed in three days.

My brother lives in Fl. and does alot of camping. He swears by this thing. Says it cools down his 9 person tent beautifully!

I highly recommend this unit. We use it to cool down the garage and it works perfectly for us.

The company is awesome!!!! Even though I had struggles with my first cooler the company went way above and beyond to make things right and answer all my questions. I highly recommend this product and company.

The water is not circulating up and over the top, I’ve filled waters between min and max and I’ve turned on the cooling mode but doesn’t circulate. EDIT - after emailing customer service from their user manual, they replied within a day with helpful guide to fix, and I found that some parts disconnected, I assume because of handling during shipping which could be on Amazon’s part. I was able to fix it and now it is working perfectly! It is very cool!

I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality of this cooler. I tried a different cooler from a major manufacturer last year and returned it because it leaked and the water pump didnt work correctly. This Vagkri cooler seems much better built and works so much better. While I cant say that it is quiet, it is not nearly as loud as the other unit I returned. Additionally, the Vagkri draws in air from 3 sides instead of just 1 to provide better cooling. I couldnt wait for a heat wave to try my new cooler, so even though the temperature today is only 78, I put water in it and gave it a try. The water distribution system works well and gets all the cooling/evaporative pads well saturated. Filling from the top is a plus. The air temp coming into the unit from open window behind it was 78 degrees and the humidity only 8%. After a few minutes of operation, the cooler was blowing 59 degree air into my room. Thats nearly a 20 degree difference. The low humidity is important for cooling. Im anxious to see how well the cooler does on a really warm day. I did not use the reusable frozen containers, as it is the principle of evaporation of water that creates the cooling effect, not the use of ice. Very happy with this unit so far. Its even nice looking. Dark and light gray, not white as appears in most photos.

Use this for our large open plan living room. Hot days are around 95 to 100. This definitely helps keep it comfortable. I keep a window open with a box fan blowing out to decrease humidity and it works great. Does hold a lot of water, luckily I have a hose right outside the room I use it in to fill it up.
