> 3 dayIt is very easy to start using. Unfortunately, the brand new unit gives off a fishy odor using the cool function. I bought it to use in my garage. My garage has 2 small air vents (one near the floor and one above it near the ceiling). Despite the vents, the garage gets too humid when running the unit. I live in bone dry AZ so the amount of humidity from the unit is surprising. I gave it 2 stars (rather than 1) since the fan is powerful and it does feel slightly cooler when using the cool function. At this point, I am not sure how much more useful this unit is over a powerful fan. I am thinking of returning it.

> 3 dayAmazing! Wish I would have thought of getting one of these years ago. No ac in an old manufactured home. summers at 110 degrees are rough. This is a game changer. We have to fill it 4xs a day and live in the high desert. Im going to buy the bigger one next year. We froze a dozen small water bottles and put 2 in every time we fill it up. The ice packs that came with it didnt last. Love it!

> 3 dayI bought this right after reading user reviews, luckily I was able to return a humidifier I bought at Home Depot. I placed mine right behind the AC on low fan for an hour, then the unit by itself. The room is so much cooler! I know my dog loves it.

05-06-2025I use this in my garage when I am working and it does a decent job. I ad a block of ice in the top and it cools the water but I wish it pushes more air volume.

> 3 dayYou could put a cooler of ice behind a fan and it would produce cooler air. Was hosting a party and was looking to cool down the garage for older people to escape the heat. Didn’t seem to make a difference at all.

> 3 dayThe instructions were easy to follow, it takes a lot of water to set up the cool mode, dont leave the tank at minimum fill, it will only last a couple of hours, go with max. I live in a dry area and had a refrigerated portable cooler that also dehumidied and as a result my nose would dry up and id get nose bleeds, this A/C evaporates the water in the tank to cool and increase humidity, its working really well with the ice packs it comes with to cool down my room without straining my nose, really satisfied. Recommend it to people living in dry heat areas from Texas to Cali, you wont regret it. To people in humid areas, further north, go with refrigerated, yall be fine.

> 3 dayWe ordered two of these, one for the front room and one for my room. It has saved us on electricity not having to run the air conditioners. My husband has MS and the heat brings on major fatigue. This keeps hin cool and we can move it to where ever he is. I am at my desk in my room most of the time and that is where I use mine. We are very pleased with them. My brother also uses one in his 5th wheel. Living in New Mexico with tripple digit heat this summer, we really use the cooler all the time. I am developing muscles lifting the gallon jugs to fill it all the time...lol
