It didnt work. My sister gave my daughter a 2016 Cell laptop that she loaded a password on then it got to hard to figure out. She ended up with an iPad so she gave my daughter the laptop, forgetting what she used for a password. We purchased this hoping to get into the laptop as college starts next week. Nope. Still locked tight. Dont bother.

Does the job. Simple, easy to understand interface. The USB unit is not as pictured.

When reading the negative reviews, it became apparent that those people dont understand computers, windows, or the capabilities of this item and maybe had other expectations. I bought a windows 10 computer at an estate liquidation and subsequently found it password protected, with the previous owner being deceased, I had no other option so I purchased this product and it was so easy I think my grandson could have done it and it worked perfectly. My summary, dont read the negative reviews and make this purchase.

This worked great and was simple to understand. Really worthwhile.

Simply works. Used on Win 10 1809 Lenovo ThinkPad X131e. F12 @ boot, choose USB. Once booted to initial program window, I choose each account and removed the passwords. Next boot, booted to desktop with last used account. Easier than re-install and configure bros computer. As specs state, this will only unlock local accounts, which is exactly what we needed.
