> 24 hourI wanted to swap out the old HDD in my PS3 slim in an attempt to make it load games faster and was pleasantly surprised! Downloaded ‘The Last of Us’ and loading times are significantly shorter! Definitely would recommend if you’re replacing an old HDD.

> 24 hourI have bought many of these to use as SSD drive for Raspberry Pi 4. Excellent all the way around and fit well into cases that accommodate Pi and SSD.

> 24 hourPrice is good, but I would not recommend this for an iMac SSD swap. The macOS software doesn’t like it. It’s definitely faster, but it sometimes freezes up, and beach balls at random times. Even booting up the mac sometimes does strange things like the circle with line through it where the apple logo would be, and telling me to contact apple.support, but then boots normal afterwards. My clone was done through recovery mode/disk utility/restore.

> 24 hourThe SSD slows down under a big load, but not to an unusable point. Its a cheap solution if you are in the need of an SSD.

> 24 hourI was upgraded an older all-in-one WIndows PC abd did not want to invest a lot to speed it up from an older mechanical hard drive. This was a great price and works just like the major brand SSDs. I cannot speak for how long it will last, but for my purpose it revived an old computer

> 24 hourPros: (1) I verified that the capacity really is 512GB by writing 512107741184 bytes (as monotonically increasing 64-bit chunks) to it while calculating a sha256 hash of the data, then reading it back from the drive. Same hash. If the drive was actually smaller but faking a 512GB capacity, the hash could not match. (2) The drive is much faster than the old 7200rpm SATA drive it replaced. (3) I was able to install Fedora 35 on it in a Dell E6410 laptop. (4) The laptop feels much faster and more responsive, well worth the $22. Cons: (1) The SATA connector does not make reliable contact in the laptop because the drive is thinner than the older 2.5 inch drive it replaced. The drive caddy has trouble holding it at the correct angle for reliable contact. A thin shim is required to build up the drive thickness to the original spec. (2) The warranty void if removed labels on the long edge of the drive make the drive too wide to slide into the Dell drive bay. The labels become scraped off along the edge where they fold over. The 2.5 inch drive dimensions spec does not permit labels on this edge. Hey Fanxiang? Put those labels elsewhere.
