Fiebings Pure Neatsfoot Oil

This is a timeless classic in use for decades. I’ve been using neats foot oil for many years on all my outdoor leather sheaths and holsters. For what it is (boiled calf bones) it’s hard to beat. The 100% pure has a slight temporary odor that goes away with a little heat until it soaks into the leather. The compound has less odor but it is unknown what the other ingredients are. If you are looking for a oil based leather treatment that will waterproof without waxy buildup this is for you. It will darken the leather. Although nothing fixes cracked leather however neats foot oil will prevent it.

I have a 30 year old catchers glove that suffered from rot and mold due to misuse. Fiebings 100% Pure Neatsfoot Oil proved to be perfect for the job. Not only did the oil provide a great soft conditioning of the glove, but it also gave the glove a great deep tan color bringing out a great look to the leather. Be careful not to use too much oil. A little on a cloth will go along way to conditioning your glove.

Great for making leather water resistant.

Exactly what I expected. This oil is so good I dont understand why it is not available in most big box stores. It was my go to oil when I was young but became difficult to find. This time I put it on some leather climbing gear with a stamped date of 1951. The leather was very dirty, dry and stiff. By the time I finished applying the oil, the gear was as soft and pliable as when it was new. I placed the order and two hours later got a response that it was shipped. It arrived two days earlier than the projected date. You dont hardly get them kind no more.
