> 24 hourFix-It Utilities 12 Pro really made me want to rip out my hair. Thankfully, I tried it on my older computer and it made the computer crash. And yes, the computer was an older Windows Vista Sony and still worked fine. Now I have to toss the computer and Im not thrilled. Buyer beware.

Have been running it a couple of months, and now the Active Defense program has gone rouge - has me rebooting my computer many times because of some pcreg.exe program. It is impossible to get any help from the program, since the Active Defense keeps finding more problems as it runs through my computer. There seems to be no telephone support number that you can call. This is worse than having a virus or malware!

> 24 hourWhile it didnt cause any problems for me, I dont see any major benefit either. Machine doesnt feel faster and overall theres no noticable difference. This doesnt mean it didnt do anything, any clean up is good, but Im not very impressed.

> 24 hourAs other reviewers have mentioned, it can take a couple of tries to load this software. It was well worth the effort, though. This software, which comes with the license to use on up to 5 computers, does a tremendous job of cleaning up files and improving performance.

> 24 hourFix It Utilities is compatible to most products of this kind. I am partial to MaAfee, but decided to give this one a try. The first thing that stood out was that Fix It protects up to 5 PCs and most others only protect up to 3 PCs. The price was in the same range as other PC protections and the installation was easy. There is not much else I can say at this point...need a few months to observe how well it protects.
