this program NEVER WORKED RIGHT ON EITHER OF MY COMPUTERS I TRULY BELEIVE IT WAS CORRUPTED WHEN I GOT IT. IM JUST SORRY I DIDNT SAY ANYTHG THEN

My experience with Fix-It Utilities 12 Professional was just fine, but I have to admit that my needs for it as yet have been relatively simple. I installed this on an old laptop specifically to use the Shredder function to wipe the harddrive before recycling in the computer. The program installed just fine and I proceeded to wipe everything. It performed this task with relative ease. I cannot speak to the other aspects of the program but this part of it worked just fine.

Like many reviewers on Amazon, I suggest that potential buyers stay away from this product. If you do go against this advice and that of other reviewers, keep the box so you can request a refund.

First it analyses your computer and finds 300+ things to fix, then it suggests you disable your protection software like Norton or McAfee, because theirs is just so much more powerful and will protect you better. At the end of the day my computer was not any faster with all the fixes, but the program wants to install new updates and fixes daily. I took it out of my computer. If you set your computer to defrag weekly and follow basic steps to check it monthly, you do not need this software; it is a hassle and NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Like Fix-it uti!ity. Dont like running install and getting an error. The error was because of an older version on computer. Had to guess about reason. I bought this because I have to clean old version every month and reinstall. The install is a lengthy procedure. Sure it doesnt cost me anything but my time but after a time I get annoyed. The newer version looks exactly the same. Time will tell if I get the dreaded cant connect to server and my only option is click OK and the program quits. I see that there is much negative feedback on all virus protection programs. So Im just sticking to old faithful for now. After using it for a while I find it had to be deleted and reinstalled as my older one. I gained nothing so its just another piece of junk.

Purchased and installed and made a total mess of my system. Not able to get it straightened out, even with their tech support(?), folks. All they did was send me a link to remove any remnants of old program and made problems worse than ever. Had to do several power off re-boots and grab f keys to get to a position to wipe it out. Wasted money and much wasted time, which is extremely important to me.

Fix It used to be my go to program when I or friends had registry errors. NOW, because Avanquest decided to charge by the year or two, I find myself looking for a suitable replacement. The replacement will not be hard to find.

I installed this, ran it, rebooted my computer and when it started up I was locked out of everything. My programs didnt show up. I thought my whole hard disk and backup drive had been erased. I was even locked out of my CD drive so I couldnt use the repair disk. After a while of trying everything I could and seeing many errors, I figured out the problem. Somehow this program has erased my Windows authorization data. Windows does not run properly if it thinks it is not a genuine copy and my proof that it was genuine had been erased. Fortunately, I found that the restore option still worked and I had a backup from the previous day. Even the restore didnt fix everything: the Windows Update no longer works, so I may have to reinstall Windows and reload all my programs eventually. Do not buy this product; it has no clue what to delete and what not to.

Fix-It Utilities 12 Pro really made me want to rip out my hair. Thankfully, I tried it on my older computer and it made the computer crash. And yes, the computer was an older Windows Vista Sony and still worked fine. Now I have to toss the computer and Im not thrilled. Buyer beware.

The shipment came on time. I used the product. Its work fine.
