Stay clear of this program at all costs. It will only make your computer much worse. The program itself is a virus. The creators of this embarassment of a program should get a lifetime jail sentence for stupidity! Get this company and their pathetic software out of the game. If you want your computer to work much worse then get this horrible software. Rot in Hell Avanquest!!!!!!!!!

I thought this product would speed up my computer and keep it from getting bogged down with time! Instead, it gave me nothing but grief. My laptop slowed down and froze up constantly and it was relatively new with very little loaded into the memory! The messages I received and the reports given didnt make sense for a new laptop. After much hassle and the help of a tech professional, I got it uninstalled. I wouldnt recommend it.

This software will really help you clean up your computer. We used it to clean up an older computer to be reused again. It worked great. Helped it start up better and function much better. It also has anti-virus software to help protect your computer from viruses. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this to try to improve my computers performance, but now Windows wont start. I guess following this programs recommendations of having it fix several dozen registry issues and removing two unneeded start-up programs was a bad idea. So was buying the program in the first place. Save your money and your computer.

As other reviewers have mentioned, it can take a couple of tries to load this software. It was well worth the effort, though. This software, which comes with the license to use on up to 5 computers, does a tremendous job of cleaning up files and improving performance.

I loaded on my laptop. I ran it and found problems. The big problem was it caused my laptop to stop working. Had to re-load my laptop.

While it didnt cause any problems for me, I dont see any major benefit either. Machine doesnt feel faster and overall theres no noticable difference. This doesnt mean it didnt do anything, any clean up is good, but Im not very impressed.

My experience with Fix-It Utilities 12 Professional was just fine, but I have to admit that my needs for it as yet have been relatively simple. I installed this on an old laptop specifically to use the Shredder function to wipe the harddrive before recycling in the computer. The program installed just fine and I proceeded to wipe everything. It performed this task with relative ease. I cannot speak to the other aspects of the program but this part of it worked just fine.

I bought Fix-It Utilities 12 Pro because my computer was running slow, taking a minute or so to attach a picture to an email. I did the download and bought the $9.99 CD. I had problems from the start with the download install, so I uninstalled it and patiently waited until I got the CD in the mail and re-installed it from the CD. After installing it, the computer (XP Pro) ran so slow, it took 42 minutes to attach a picture to an email. Im going to try to get my money back.

This software advised me that a free software I downloaded was actually spyware. It appeared to me that the software was just fine. But upon removing it, my computer issues dissapeared. I had tried nearly everything trying to figure out what was wrong. I even had an I.T. guy look at my laptop. His advice?, Buy a new one, its 5 years old!
