Greater than one weekThe DVD loaded up pretty nicely. The scanning takes forever so you might want to set it to overnight. The most useful service was the registry cleaner. Decent product.

> 3 dayFix-It Utilities 12 Pro really made me want to rip out my hair. Thankfully, I tried it on my older computer and it made the computer crash. And yes, the computer was an older Windows Vista Sony and still worked fine. Now I have to toss the computer and Im not thrilled. Buyer beware.

> 3 dayLike Fix-it uti!ity. Dont like running install and getting an error. The error was because of an older version on computer. Had to guess about reason. I bought this because I have to clean old version every month and reinstall. The install is a lengthy procedure. Sure it doesnt cost me anything but my time but after a time I get annoyed. The newer version looks exactly the same. Time will tell if I get the dreaded cant connect to server and my only option is click OK and the program quits. I see that there is much negative feedback on all virus protection programs. So Im just sticking to old faithful for now. After using it for a while I find it had to be deleted and reinstalled as my older one. I gained nothing so its just another piece of junk.

> 3 dayThis software advised me that a free software I downloaded was actually spyware. It appeared to me that the software was just fine. But upon removing it, my computer issues dissapeared. I had tried nearly everything trying to figure out what was wrong. I even had an I.T. guy look at my laptop. His advice?, Buy a new one, its 5 years old!

> 3 dayThis will give my experience with Fix-It Utilities Professional, which took place over about a week of using this program on our home network. We have three computers: (1) HP Pavilion Slimline desktop PC (mine); (2) HP Pavilion Entertainment notebook PC (my husbands); and (3) Dell Inspiron notebook PC (backup/auxiliary). All three run Windows 7 Home Premium with Internet Explorer 9; the HPs had Kaspersky and the Dell had McAfee for virus protection.

> 3 dayFirst it analyses your computer and finds 300+ things to fix, then it suggests you disable your protection software like Norton or McAfee, because theirs is just so much more powerful and will protect you better. At the end of the day my computer was not any faster with all the fixes, but the program wants to install new updates and fixes daily. I took it out of my computer. If you set your computer to defrag weekly and follow basic steps to check it monthly, you do not need this software; it is a hassle and NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

> 3 dayIt is a toss up between giving this 3 stars or 4. Either seems appropriate so I will lean towards 4 stars because it works and that is what really counts.
