> 3 dayThis software advised me that a free software I downloaded was actually spyware. It appeared to me that the software was just fine. But upon removing it, my computer issues dissapeared. I had tried nearly everything trying to figure out what was wrong. I even had an I.T. guy look at my laptop. His advice?, Buy a new one, its 5 years old!

> 3 dayStay clear of this program at all costs. It will only make your computer much worse. The program itself is a virus. The creators of this embarassment of a program should get a lifetime jail sentence for stupidity! Get this company and their pathetic software out of the game. If you want your computer to work much worse then get this horrible software. Rot in Hell Avanquest!!!!!!!!!

> 3 daythis program screwed my computer up even more than it was before. Hard time deleting it. Had to Google it to find out how to uninstall. Now I am going to have to wipe my computer clean and start over. I would not recommend this product

Greater than one weekFix It Utilities is compatible to most products of this kind. I am partial to MaAfee, but decided to give this one a try. The first thing that stood out was that Fix It protects up to 5 PCs and most others only protect up to 3 PCs. The price was in the same range as other PC protections and the installation was easy. There is not much else I can say at this point...need a few months to observe how well it protects.

18-11-2024Yikes.... stay away from this program...... Have been running it a couple of months, and now the Active Defense program has gone rouge - has me rebooting my computer many times because of some pcreg.exe program. It is impossible to get any help from the program, since the Active Defense keeps finding more problems as it runs through my computer. There seems to be no telephone support number that you can call. This is worse than having a virus or malware!

> 3 dayLike many reviewers on Amazon, I suggest that potential buyers stay away from this product. If you do go against this advice and that of other reviewers, keep the box so you can request a refund.

> 3 dayI installed this, ran it, rebooted my computer and when it started up I was locked out of everything. My programs didnt show up. I thought my whole hard disk and backup drive had been erased. I was even locked out of my CD drive so I couldnt use the repair disk. After a while of trying everything I could and seeing many errors, I figured out the problem. Somehow this program has erased my Windows authorization data. Windows does not run properly if it thinks it is not a genuine copy and my proof that it was genuine had been erased. Fortunately, I found that the restore option still worked and I had a backup from the previous day. Even the restore didnt fix everything: the Windows Update no longer works, so I may have to reinstall Windows and reload all my programs eventually. Do not buy this product; it has no clue what to delete and what not to.

> 3 dayThis is the worst thing ever. Now that Ive foolishly installed it, my computer gives me a blue screen and I get a pop-up saying your computer was unable to start. My computer was a little slow but otherwise fine before I wrecked it with this buggy software. There are tons of other reviews on here where people have had an experience similar to mine, and I am shocked that this software is allowed on the market when it ruins peoples computers! I might as well have just surfed some free porn and let a virus eat my computer. At least it would have been free. Im surprised this company doesnt have a class action lawsuit on its hands!
