Greater than one weekIve been using this stuff for a few years now, and man what cant it do? I originally bought it as an undercoating for my vehicles. I live in MA where we salt the roads so much you would swear an ocean dried up and left the salt deposits behind on the black top. I lather up the cars twice a year and not only does it stop the salt from eating through the paint and causing rust it actually over time penetrates through the the existing rust and starts lifting it away little by little. I used to be careful not to get it on the exhaust of the vehicles but now I dont bother to worry about that. It just fizzles and burns off but does NOT catch fire. The only down side is the strange smell and concerned looks i get while at the traffic lights as the white smoke plumes from underneath the cars. For my old 99 pickup truck that was rusting along the firewall and othe parts of the engine I decided why not give this stuff a try? So I hosed off the engine bay walls, brake booster, and pretty much everything other than the alternator, fuse boxes, air intake box/hose, battery, and top and front of engine block with this stuff. The rust mostly gone in the engine bay after a couple of years. What cant this stuff do? Heres a list of what I found it can be used for; Car under coating Rust penetrator for removing bolts and freeing locks (use the spray can version for this) Wipe down rag for firearms Mixed with CLP for a good bore cleaner for blackpowder and smokeless rifles Lube garage door tracks Rust cleaner Snowthrower tines, chute, and drive train Tire shiner If its metal and you want it protected or lubed this is the stuff you want. Just dont drink it. Then again, this stuff probably cures cancer too.

> 3 dayUsing this stuff for years. My truck looks new at 12 years old. Zero rust. Last truck did not have any rust till 13 years. I live in new jersey these dummies put salt thicker than the snow on the roads...makes them overtime kills our roads and cars. Its good government Im sure. So spend on a gallon every few years and watch your showoff neighbors go through cars and trucks while yours just keeps on keepin on. You can brush it, spray it, or have it done for you, either way it will keep your car young longer.

> 3 dayI have been tasked with maintaining steel equipment in a marine environment for fifty years and this is the best product for equipment that is not easily sandblasted and painted. Its not suitable for things that are handled but for areas not subject to touch, its by far the best protection.

> 3 dayI just applied this on my truck for the winter, and will have to see how it holds up overtime and protects, but the application was great and the stuff stays thick as well and doesnt run or drip. Application was easy and great and about a half a gallon or so did my whole truck with very liberal application with the spraygun. Cleanup was great too with the spray gun with Dawn dish soap and simple orange. Dec 26th. - OK so it figures with all the winter prep for my truck we have the warmest December in history here… But so far the fluid film is still wet and staying on well Im not drying out anywhere. We did have snow one weekend in driving around the stuff you tiered well and he stayed on everywhere on the truck.

> 3 dayFluid film is easy to apply using the spray-on application kit. Its a must for any vehicle or machinery that operates in a corrosive environment. Vehicles are ridiculously expensive these days, so it only makes sense to protect them from the damage caused by salt spray. Fluid Film, if applied properly, will slow down the rust & corrosion that destroys vehicles up here in the Northeast.

> 3 dayI just bought it and have applied it to a bunch of rusty stuff. Chips in my trucks paint, rusty hitch receiver, rust on my bumper other random stuff. Have intentions of spraying it underneath the truck. So far, seems to work. It stinks. I can not offer a long term evaluation at this point. I will come back in a yr or two and report back.

> 3 dayHoly crap this stuff works ! I sprayed it on my rusty truck and it soaked right in . If you get on your exhaust pipe it’s going to burn off and make a funny smell for a while . I noticed a couple days later that the rust started falling off my truck . At least the loss stuff . So I sprayed again . I used a whole gallon for two applications on the same vehicle. I think it was worth it . I’ve never tried anything else to judge it by . But just looking under my truck shows it looks 100 times better . And I plan on using it on all our vehicles every year
