I have a truck that is 5 years old. I live in upstate NY, and I drive on heavily salted roads all winter. Because of this stuff, the underside of my truck looks like I live Texas, because there is no rust anywhere. It is really messy, and smells kind of weird, because it is basically lanolin (fat from sheeps wool) with a peppermint smell added to make it smell less like a wet sheep. But it works. If you have something metal that is going to be exposed to water or salty water, this stuff will be totally protect it if you put it on every year. Unlike rubber undercoating, you can slop this stuff everywhere, like on nuts and bolts. It also comes in a spray, which is very handy to for getting it inside the frame and up into the doors etc.

Product will be used to undercoat 1981 VW Bus. The gallon can top was slightly loosened and leaking into plastic sealed bag. The can was laying on its side in shipping box, probably side loaded pinching can and loosening top. THIS side up may be an option. Thank you for prompt delivery.

My brother in law swears by this product. He has it on all of his vehicles. So now we have it on our new truck. I will get back with you in ten years and let you know how well it worked.. lol It was an ease to apply, time consuming but relatively simple.

Wow this stuff smell like sheep, and it should cause it comes from sheep. Anyhow the wife didnt like the smell when I first sprayed it on and complained a bit. I on the other hand, love this stuff. I used a graco airless sprayer to get it coated under my F350 which was showing lots of rusting. It has a weird viscosity where if you stir it up it thins out but once it settles, it thickens. It leave an oily (like lamb oil) on the surface, but doesnt come off. Seems to semi-solidify. I probably over sprayed it, but it used about 2/3 gallon on my Truck. Definitely think its worth it. There might be some other uses for it also, like boots and belts and rubbing on your hands to waterproof them (maybe poison ivy proof them.

Fluid film is awesome. Its messy to apply with the spray system but my 3 year old truck looks like new underneath. I buy it cheaper from a local store now. The price here is too high. I touch it up every year.

The Gallon is enough for 3-4 Applications of my Jeep. Applying via a Gun/air is a bit messy, but, worth the effort. For those who have yet to apply, it is gooey, smelly and the first few drives, a bunch of white smoke. What I gain is an under carriage blocked from Salt, yuck, mud, water, sand and whatever else your frame can get off the road. So, a little work saves your vehicle for a long time. I also spray it on my Mower decks.

Easy to apply, I needed to warm it up a little. Applied at 60 degrees F outside. I used the applicator gun that is recommended and this worked well. This material was also recommended by our body shop and the local retailer as well. I was able to get this faster and for less on Amazon. Very happy with purchase.

Love this stuff! I have tried several other brands of corrosion prevention sprays and this is by far the best. Yes, it leaves a slippery film on a surface that does not dry out which is the point for adequate protection. You may find it necessary to wipe off (where maintenance is required) and then re-applied, for example for suspension work. It is not as inexpensive as some other brands when purchased in spray cans but Fluid Film is worth it. If you have large applications or like to apply it for example once or twice a year to your vehicles then buy the complete kit with a spray gun. If you have smaller periodic applications then add the spray cans to your Amazon list and keep an eye on the price. $10/can seems to be the best price so far. Hate to mention this on Amazon but it is also periodically available on sale at Lowes or AutoZone.
