> 3 dayMy wife and I were able to quickly diagnose and repair several mini Christmas light strings this year. Normally it takes hours removing and testing every bulb.

> 3 dayIm a licensed electrician. A NCVM like this is one of my daily-use tools. Ive used the other brand forever and typically get about a year out of them before they need replacement. Decided to try this Fluke as I often see others using them. Barely a month out of the package and its unusable--going off constantly while set down on a wooden table not near anything, held still in my hand not near anything, etc. Two different sets of freshly-charged batteries yield the same results. Very disappointed to throw an expensive brand-name tool like this into the trash after less than a month and a half of use. Ill be going back to the other brand.

> 3 dayI was sadden when my original tester from years ago failed. This new version is even better, it is a must have when investigating quickly to find a problem. No contact with conductors at all.

> 3 dayVery handy device that is not much bigger than a pen for detecting live voltage on wires and socket outlets. I have discovered that the flat tip, although narrow is just a fraction too big to actually insert into the wall power sockets. Despite this it is still sensitive enough to detect the live circuit without the need for insertion.
