Yes I used a simple cup before like every other person in this hobby. So why did I pay for an overpriced cup? Because its awesome! The inside has edges that are real good for getting the paint off your brush, also the inlets used to help narrow the bristles are awesome. If you enjoy this hobby of painting miniatures, just buy it, your doing yourself a favor and youll be happy you did.

4 diffrent types of gradients to help clean your brush on the inside of the cup.

Using product for its intended purpose. Yes, its could be an unnecessary item to purchase but in my situation, it proved useful in that my cat tries to knock over cups of water intentionally but has yet to up-end this one. I did pro-actively add some additional weight around the base that is easily hidden between the plastic surfaces, which helps it function as a paperweight as well.

Always thought this was a gimmick product, but its actually pretty good. Having a washboard surface on the bottom and side of the cup really helps cleaning brushes. It also has tip formers on the back that are pretty useful. I really bought this on a whim, and have to say its far more worth it than I had expected.

Looks awesome, grooves help clean brushes, and shape stops it from tipping over. It’s uniqueness also stops me from confusing it with my drink and taking a swig of paint. It also stops your girlfriend from getting mad that paint stains your other mugs. 10/10
