> 3 dayI didnt think this would make a big difference but decided to try it. The ridges on the bottom make it easier to get the black and red paint off my brushes. I had to wash my brushes multiple times before they would start to look clean but now its a single or double wash and dry and they look like new (minus the paint on the handle).

> 3 dayMy boyfriend is always painting miniatures for warhammer and would use just a small Tupperware bowl to clean his brushes, he goes thru brushes like crazy because he can never keep them clean enough. He loves this water pot, says the ridges inside are perfect for getting all the excess off, it’s easy to clean, and he’s not afraid it may tip over. He would have never bought this for himself since he thought what he was using was working fine, but now that he has this he said he wish he would have gotten one sooner

> 3 dayFirst impression, water capacity is significantly smaller than I expected, smaller than a mug, so I have to change out the dirty water frequently. Maybe not a bad thing if you want to take breaks a lot for the sake of your health, but its inconvenient and not really an upgrade from what I was using before. The deep grooves along the back of the cup which are intended to draw the hairs into a point, I never use, since I wipe my brush on a paper towel to remove excess water and form the point. The ridges up the walls inside of the cup, not sure if they help too much, but I never use them either. The deep ridges along the bottom of the cup, I never use with my layer brushes unless I want to ruin them, but they are really good for deep cleaning less fragile brushes (like synthetic brushes and dry brushes). The tapered wide-bottom shape is nice in that its hard to knock over on the table top, but not so nice in that its easy to slip out of your grip on a trip to the sink (unless you hold it up from underneath). The notch along the top of the cup holds a brush, and is pretty nice. Its molded as a single piece of polypropylene plastic, and its form is hollow so that it can be stacked.

> 3 dayI bought this from Games Workshop directly so it is not shown on here. I love this pot. I paint daily as part of a side job and hobby, and this has been serving me amazingly. I will point out the slits on the side make it so much easier to get your brush clean and to a point. Plus the shape keeps it from being tipped over and ruining your keyboard like i did prior to getting this.

> 3 dayI like this water pot but I actually use it to store my tools and brushes. Being a solid color makes it difficult to tell when to change your water. Nice accent though

21-11-2024... but it works well, and I’m a citadel fanboy with money to burn on gimmicky name-branded products.

> 3 dayI am glad I got this. I was using a standard drinking glass like a lot of people and it worked ok, but this one has some extra ridges and slots to shape your brushes. Works better than I thought it would to be honest. Glad I got it.

19-11-2024This thing is great. You might be thinking Why should I bother paying $10 for something I can use an old mug for? It has a lot of really useful features. The ridges on the side and the bottom are terrific for keeping brushes clean, much better than just a strong swirl used to get me. The grooves on the side re-sharpen your brush. Its not magic: if you have an old crappy brush, its not going to suddenly spring back to new, but a quick swipe keeps a brush with a fine point from spreading out over a painting session. Lastly, the wide base keeps it from falling over easily. No one wants mixed paint stains all over their table.
