Games Workshop Citadel - Pot à Eau

> 3 daySeriously. Its a pot for water for when youre painting your miniatures. It has a few touches that make it superior to a coffee mug (it has a notch for resting your paintbrush off the table, and there are structures inside the pot that make it easier to divest your brush of excess. It is sturdy and it is designed to not knock over easilly. Unlike warhammer games, which are known by iteration number, this has an actual year on it...so you can lord it over fellow hobbyists thirty years from now that youve been buying miniatures for thirty years. Also like most warhammer minatures, it is supplied unpainted.

> 3 dayI threw this against the wall to test its durability. It passed the test with flying colors! I should of took the water out of it first. Oh yeah its important to note it doesnt come prefilled with water. Great product.

> 3 dayMy boyfriend is always painting miniatures for warhammer and would use just a small Tupperware bowl to clean his brushes, he goes thru brushes like crazy because he can never keep them clean enough. He loves this water pot, says the ridges inside are perfect for getting all the excess off, it’s easy to clean, and he’s not afraid it may tip over. He would have never bought this for himself since he thought what he was using was working fine, but now that he has this he said he wish he would have gotten one sooner

> 3 dayI bought this as an alternative to the Mason jar I always kept on my desk when painting. Pros: The inside of the cup has ridges and textures to help clean my brushes without causing damage. Convenient brush holder built into the lip of the cup. Small enough to fit onto pretty much any workstation. Wider base helps to ensure it wont get accidently bumped and spilled too easily. Cons: Its made by Citadel so its pricey. Much smaller than I expected. I find I have to empty and refill it more often than my old Mason jar. Material is a pretty light weight plastic. I really thought it would be a bit more robust than it is. Overall, if this was a gift, I would love it. Since I paid for it myself, not as hyped. It is a good product which has a few perks but overall just a bit to expensive for what you actually get. Stick to a large bowl/Mason jar, etc.

> 3 dayIt may seem a bit pricey for something you essentially have around your house in the form of a jar or any other container. The Citadel water pot though has a few extra bells and whistles that kind of make it worth a purchase. The pot has ribs inside and on the bottom. It also has a few grooves along the side to help work water out of the bristles of your brush. Though if your brush is on the smaller side? These arent going to be as effective. The pot also has a recess on the top that allows you to lay your brush or brushes in. This helps keep them ready at hand. If you are painting you dont want to put your brushes bristle down and let them in the pot.
