Love it. Bought it for a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains and it surpassed my expectations. It was awesome having all the hiking s trails on wrist(as well as all my music) and tracking my mileage and elevation changes. Was there for some photography so it was definitely nice knowing sunrise.sunset times as well. Used it while snowboarding and noticed that my watch had 20minutes left. Made sure to leave the face exposed to the sun and after a couple hours of riding it had over an hour of battery life left. So that works. Great all around rugged sleek watch

Not too easy to start and stop activities. Not able to zoom in on maps. The battery last an unusually long time this is great. As for the GPS, well not very accurate as far as I can tell. I got storm warnings when there was no storm while camping at 9500 feet. And no warning when a storm came the next day. I ended up getting caught in a down pour. I am not too pleased. the sleep monitor is very helpful and is a good tool .

While from the product photo, it appears the blue is more of a dull-ish blueish grey, I’m still overall happy with the watch. Also I wasn’t aware the side profile was white, so adding stainless steel band to make it more modern and classy didn’t work to the full effect I wanted. Nonetheless, Garmin makes wonderful watches and could never after going through over 10 Fitbits, I am happy to purchase something with more longevity.

The physical design is nice, the functions seems excellent, but navigating the device is extremely unintuitive. I cant return it, as I didnt realize the seller also shipped the product, not Amazon (my mistake, I usually wont buy from sellers like Instadeals). Since I cant return it, Ill have to read the manual, which is unusual for a smartphone-connected device in 2022. It has a touchscreen and 5 buttons (too many, it defeats the whole purpose of a touchscreen!). A big display and a touchscreen should mean you dont have all these unlabeled buttons. Also, most infuriating is the display brightness by default is very low, which makes the display UNREADABLE. And its not remotely obvious how to increase the brightness. Because the watch has a lot of functions, the app is not simple, either. it took a while to find settings (I buy way more gadgets and electronic products than anyone I know). If Garmin can develop the software to provide all of these functions, they should be able to create a more intuitive UI.

I am very pleased with my new watch thus far. I had a Garmin Fenix 5X previously but it wore out after about 4 and a half years. I chose to get another Fenix since I was hoping the Fenix 7X would operate the same. Its a bit different but Im getting familiar with it. Its definitely a good idea to look at the manual. The touch screen feature is nice. Im also very pleased with the solar charging feature. I will now be able to go much longer without plugging this watch in. While far from cheap I consider this money well spent.

    Google play nit suported!

First, they charge you almost $60 restocking fee for returns. Second, battery life advertising is false. Third, the watch is huge and heavy and not comfortable to carry on your wrist 24/7. Lastly, it’s not as intuitive to use and set/reset as similar watches. All they seem to care about is adding ridiculous functionality that the average person may never use and then charging exorbitantly for them.

Battery life is great, tracking is excellent, and Im really impressed by everything it does and how well. Also a huge fan of the transflective screen vs AMOLED. Indoors, it looks like a normal watch and not my phone. In bed, I can check it without being blinded. Outside, its stunning. However, if you use a streaming music service and want to play it on your watch, it needs a fix. In theory it can play the music fine, but it cannot play a specific song that you want. Instead, it can only do a playlist from start to finish, or do a playlist randomly on shuffle. So you basically select a playlist and hope you get the songs you most want to hear. Fix that, and its 5/5.
