> 3 dayThis watch is sleek, durable, and it does everything you could possibly want a watch to do. Its ultra customizable. The battery life is out of this world. At the time of writing this, I havent charged my watch for about 2 weeks and Im still at 40% battery left. I was really worried about how compatible it would be with an Iphone. I had an apple watch before, but this watch does nearly everything that my apple watch did as well as a tremendous amount more. I would recommend this watch to anyone, especially the solar version.

> 3 dayGuess I should have watched, no pun intended, more closely when I was choosing the watch, I wanted one with the flashlight, didnt realize it only came on the 7X model

Greater than one weekI went from a Fenix 5x to the new 7. Touch screen is great, an all around great sports training watch.

> 3 dayFirst, they charge you almost $60 restocking fee for returns. Second, battery life advertising is false. Third, the watch is huge and heavy and not comfortable to carry on your wrist 24/7. Lastly, it’s not as intuitive to use and set/reset as similar watches. All they seem to care about is adding ridiculous functionality that the average person may never use and then charging exorbitantly for them.

> 3 dayNot too easy to start and stop activities. Not able to zoom in on maps. The battery last an unusually long time this is great. As for the GPS, well not very accurate as far as I can tell. I got storm warnings when there was no storm while camping at 9500 feet. And no warning when a storm came the next day. I ended up getting caught in a down pour. I am not too pleased. the sleep monitor is very helpful and is a good tool .

> 3 dayI love this new upgrade. I went from a forerunner 935 to this one and the technology is so nice. All the new features and battery life is great. I run ultras and love that it can link to my zwift, peloton, and all my other technology.

> 3 dayThis watch truly does it all, and it has been a lifesaver for me--probably in a literal sense. Its comfortable and it looks great, especially with customizable watch faces. Battery life is superb. Super easy to use, and they seem to have thought of everything (example: turning off touch screen while youre recording an exercise activity but still allowing scrolling/functionality with intuitive button presses). The data collected are really helpful, especially if you sync them with Strava (subscription costs extra). I bought the HRM-one heart rate monitor to pair with it and it works very well. I had been concerned about the accuracy of the watchs HRM readings, but it turns out they were mostly pretty dead on. With the strap I also get all sorts of useful info about my gait efficiency. I really want to give this 5 stars. THE ONLY ISSUE is the fitness tracker/recommendations. I have been working out A TON ever since I got this, which was sort of the point. This watch wants me to slow down and do more low aerobic activities. As a result, for two weeks it has been warning me Im unproductive and my stats (VO2 max and heat acclimation) have backslid inexplicably even though Im working out all the damn time (in summer heat, no less). Sure, I may be overdoing it a little, but this watch cant seriously think Im trending backward in terms of my fitness level. I appreciate the amount of thought and expertise that apparently went into these metrics, but how about some credit for putting in a whole lot of work?? I was hoping the HRM strap would help the app recalibrate its expectations based on more accurate biodata, but if anything this problem got worse. Garmin product support specialists were awesome and friendly, but all they could tell me was to take these automated assessments with a big grain of salt. I didnt buy this watch expecting it to be my personal trainer, but to the extent it wants to be, it comes up woefully short. OH, and also I think I may be allergic to the blue titanium bezel and clasp, so if your skin is sensitive to certain metals, be careful.
