> 3 dayI ended up returning this after seeing what the screen looks like in real life. Almost like a retro game or some kind of graphing calculator, very poor quality “graphics” and it really ruins the watch. Feature wise, it’s incredible.

> 3 dayNeed some time to learn controls - expected. I prefer regular non sapphire glass (I own sapphire 6 version)- slightly better visibility inside and supposedly more shatterproof. Be realistic about sizing, I would love to have bigger display and bigger battery but unless you like 250/63 forget about X size.

> 3 dayI purchased this as an upgrade from a Fenix 6X Pro. While the upgrades are incremental, they are nice to have. The bully in flashlight is wonderful and the battery life is ridiculous. I am an avid runner and cyclist, along with some strength training and other miscellaneous supporting activity and this device is priceless in tracking these activities and my overall fitness level/ fatigue/ training status.

> 3 dayAfter living with a daily charger watch. I decided to get something that could handle all of my applications without dying at the end of the day. It was a struggle to make the decision as the watch is not inexpensive, but once I had it in hand I knew that I had made the correct decision. Tons of capabilities which I learn about daily.

> 3 dayHello, fellow fitness peeps! Ive had the @garmin fenix 7X saphire solar for almost three months now, and I’ve rarely taken it off. It doesnt matter if I lift, run, swim, or stand-up paddle—this thing is on my wrist. The Garmin Connect app works flawlessly and is super intuitive. I love all the data Im getting. I’m slowly getting back to where I was before travel and Covid, and the insights have been helpful to tailor and dial in my workouts. Granted, if you want texts, emails, and calls on your watch—Apple is the way to go—but I dont care about that stuff. Its a fitness watch and I treat it that way. The best thing about it is the battery life—I’ve only charged it three or four times since I got it. Also, the Hawaiian sun keeps this baby pretty much charges all year around. If you have an active lifestyle and care about tracking your activities and stats, check out the latest @garmin watches.

> 3 dayThe battery life was shorter than I had expected. It declines IF you use tracking and other features for hours, e.g., on a hike. It takes awhile to take advantage of all the features but Im getting there.

> 3 dayIts my third Garmin. Had the 235, the 245 music and now bought this because I wanna start doing some open water swimming. Could have bought the 745 or the 945 but since I have a small wrist those wore oversized. This Fenix 7s I can wear it to work or going out with friends.

> 3 dayI only bought this watch because I needed an upgrade to support my Stryd pod. This is such a hilarious expenditure but I was feeling confident at the time so I went for it. Garmin has the most bizarrely confusing and unnecessary breadth in product line. They need 3, maybe 4, watches but somehow they keep adding more and more and more to the point that there are maybe three dozen options. This is really silly and makes it difficult for the layman to understand what he should be buying. Anyway, even the smaller version of this watch is hilariously bulky. They make the claim of something like 14 days battery life--not even close. Apparently its 12-14 days if you disable all features. Even for basic running mine drains pretty easily getting closer to one week battery life. I thought that all this extra tech would be an improvement over the 4S or whatever super cheap basic Garmin I had--nope! When traveling long distances the watch still gets confused for the first activity, just the same as cheaper Garmins, and will muddle or lose the majority of the GPS portion of an activity. The HR monitoring is more-or-less identical to cheaper models. If you are using a foot pod and want to design a custom UI... this screen is tiny. Even with power-pace-time-distance I need to really inspect it to see whats going on since the screen is relatively small and theres no way to actually fine tune font sizes or anything. Im sure there are some cool features here but with this price tag you had better be sure that youre going to use them. As a premium running watch its a disappointment.

> 3 dayWhat I like: 1) Size is very substantial, which I like 2) They’ve extended the battery life by like triple what it was, and that’s a huge win! 3). Love the touch screen 4) Very accurate with calculations Very improved from my first Fenix, the 5!!! Love it, and hope it lasts longer than my first one too. That will be the true test.
