Greater than one weekI’ve used geeni products for over 3 years and have never had any issue. I ordered 2 of these plugs in November of last year. One of the plugs never connected at all, the second has a dangerous issue. 1 of the 4 plugs is broken. The other 3 rapidly “blink” power. (Constantly turn on and off) this makes the unit extremely hot and can badly damage what’s plugged in. Probably also a hazard for the power system. of all smart home brands, geeni has had devastatingly horrible customer service, and could care less about my house burning down. since they won’t reply to my emails, I’m writing a review. -thanks

> 3 dayUnfortunately the return window closed after 4 weeks. So I guess Im just out of luck. The set up was also pretty difficult. Overall just pretty disappointed.

> 3 dayWhos was handy when paired with Alexa, but one power outage fried the unit. Almost made it to one year... Missed it by a week.

> 3 dayBeen using this in my sunroom where our Christmas tree is and it makes getting all the lights turned on and off easy. Each switch/plug can be activated separately through Alexa so I can have one for Christmas Tree and another for a regular light. Install was easy using the app and it integrated with Alexa easily once I added the skill. I think I need 10 more of these in my house!

> 3 dayThis could totally be a user error, but most over the connections on it work, but my salt lamp is also plugged into it and for some reason it Alexa doesn’t respond to that command. My other salt lamp that is on a different connection will work. So a bit frustrating. Otherwise it works

Greater than one weekI liked this when I first got it, it was easy to connect to wifi and I could control it with the app on my phone. However, a little over a year after using it I switched to a new internet provider. When I attempted to switch this to the new wifi, the app kept saying it couldnt find it. So I unplugged it to try to reset it, when I plugged it back in, the light came on so I plugged something in to it to test it and it shot out sparks and went dead. Now all it does is shoot sparks and then lose power. Upset that this only last a little over a year. But guess Im lucky I found that it was faulty before it burned my house down!

> 3 dayThe unit works well with Google. I appreciate that each outlet is controlled separately. Gives so much function to the system, along with home automation. The one issue is that it only fits conventional outlets. It will not fit a gfci with out modification and double sided tape. All and all very happy with the purchase.

Greater than one weekYes! A smart outlet that integrates with SmartLife and therefore integrates with Google Home. I was frustrated not finding Gosund anymore. It appears Geeni is filling that gap. Each plug is recognized individually for better control. I use mine for lights and a fan for remote and time control.

> 3 day5/5 Rating I love this device. Its great to put in the childrens room to control their access to devices that are wall powered. Connecting can be a challenge especially if you just glazed through the directions like most would. I love that you can plug 4 devices in at once and control each plug. You can control from anywhere which is an added benefit. Pros Easy to use once set up Can plug 4 devices in at once Can control 4 devices via app and Google / Alexa Great for use with children Cons Not as easy to set up as you would think. Its not bad but make sure to read directions first.
