What I like: Super easy to set up. Sleek design, hugs the wall. Fit securely into my existing outlet. Works with my Alexa. Will control my tree lighting, a Scentsy, and deco lighting this holiday season. Peace of mind. You can set different timers to customize. I used this on a lamp, a Scentsy, and a floor fan to give it a test run. Perfect operation. Brought a touch of a smart home into the older home I am renting. And I can take it with me. :) Highly, highly recommend this plug.

Works well, integrated easily with Alexa. Took off one star because of the large irritating blue light in the center of the unit which serves no purpose! There is a small blue light at the top of the unit which indicates the power is on. China factory needs to make a small change to have that center light go off after pairing is completed.

    Greater than one week

Whos was handy when paired with Alexa, but one power outage fried the unit. Almost made it to one year... Missed it by a week.

It would be nice if it would allow more than 6 characters for information for the 4 on off buttons but overall the functionality so far has met my expectations. Adding schedules are easy and the timing is pretty precise for on and off. If you only have a single duplex outlet this is a inexpensive way to expand you capacity. I don’t use with Alexa she listens to much about everything.

I bought three of these to put in outlets that are behind heavy bakers racks with seven shelves on them, so that I could use Alexa to turn the lights on and off at a certain specific time without having to reset timers when there is a power outage. Two of them work great but one keeps dropping the connection and it does not attempt to reconnect at all when the connection is lost. And the one loses connection a lot. So I feel like I paid $60 to still have to move those heavy shelves so that I can hit the button every other day. Disappointing. Other than that, I love them. The ones that dont drop the connection all the time are perfect.

Dont waste your money. Worked fine for 3 months then started resetting itself. Now it wont even connect or power on.

5/5 Rating I love this device. Its great to put in the childrens room to control their access to devices that are wall powered. Connecting can be a challenge especially if you just glazed through the directions like most would. I love that you can plug 4 devices in at once and control each plug. You can control from anywhere which is an added benefit. Pros Easy to use once set up Can plug 4 devices in at once Can control 4 devices via app and Google / Alexa Great for use with children Cons Not as easy to set up as you would think. Its not bad but make sure to read directions first.

The 4 smart outlet plug is a great idea, the unit is well executed, shiny surface, plenty of indicator lights. But in my case, and I hope at least one reader will learn from my mistakes, it was a painful journey. Luckily I read the reviews, especially the Vine reviews which tend to be full of helpful information, usually not found in the manuals/link from this third party sellers. A bit of plug for Vine program, but I believe in it. See following. Initially one review said to follow the manual, but others said that one can stay with SmartLife and there is no need for another app. It is TRUE. My painful journey started with reading step two about the flashing light. I was waiting for the top small light to flash. It never did, in spite of all my presses on the middle button. The only thing I succeed to was to break the glue which held the middle button and end up with a useless device. To prevent that end, I took it apart, removed the PCB and epoxied the middle push bottom to the two tiny posts, and reassembled. Seeing that the middle button flashes, I used that as the indication and proceeded with SmartLife addition. It worked flawlessly, and a second later Alexa took over automatically adding the 4 outlets and the whole units for a total of 5 controllable (smart) units in my home. I hope this long review helps people in making the correct informed decision regarding the product, and help in overcoming poor documentation as well. Feel free to let me know if this is helpful or comment why this review is not adding value. That should improve my reviewing for the future, helping the community.
