My garage door (Genie Pro Stealth) suddenly wouldnt close unless I held the button until completely closed. I noticed one of the lights on my original sensors was off. I checked wiring and tried to adjust, but not luck. Bought these and installed in 5 minutes. Everything works again! Good product for reasonable price.

My garage door wouldn’t close anymore. After some research online it appeared to be an issue with the sensors so I tried these. All I had to do was swap out these with the old, use all the existing wires and it worked again without any issues! Such an easy fix!!

I purchased this to replace the sensors that my parents dog used as a urinal...haha.

I purchased these to repair my Mother-In-Laws garage door opener. It would not close unless you held the button down on the doorbell switch, and of course you could not close the door with the wireless remote. These were easy to install. Just connect the wires from the old units. These are intended to be attached to the garage rather than to the door rails like the old ones. Still installation only took about 15 minutes. Note: I thought alignment would be a pain, but it was easy. Just attach them the same distance from the floor and slightly bend the bracket on the master until the green led lights. They have been installed for about three months now and have no issues. I installed these on a Genie opener, but I suspect they would work with any opener that uses this type of safety device (all openers manufactured in the last 15 years or so, I think)

Works as advertised. If youve installed this near a garage water hose, wrap the sensor in a translucent plastic bag. The sensor may be reasonably weather-proof, but it isnt waterproof.

One of the sensors didnt work, but thats what I get buying a open box item.
