This item was just as described and worked beautifully once they were connected. Thankfully this was the only issue present to get my door opener functioning normally again. Inexpensive and easy fix.

These saved me a lot of headaches! I was having trouble with my garage door closing. The sun would hit my old sensors just right and would cause the door to not close about 80% of the time. I tried the toilet paper roll and everything else you can think of. Finally decided to change the sensors to these and I’m glad I did! I put the red one on the side that gets the most direct sunlight and have not had a problem yet. Install takes less than 10 minutes. Very pleased!

Very easy to install and worked as a perfect replacement for the original sensors.

My overhead door eye beam got wet and no longer worked after I was power washing the inside of my garage. Overhead Door wanted $117 for a new pair of eye sensors and another $150 service fee to install them. Note that Genie must manufacture the Overhead Door Odyssey 1000. So I was able to order the Genie eye beams to work with my Odyssey 1000. Installed in same location and door is know fully functional. Thank God!

Perfect replacement for my 15 year old Genie opener. Installation was quick and easy - only took about 20 minutes. Worked perfectly the first time.

Easy to fit straight out of the packaging. Simple instructions. You dont even need to worry about polarity. Fixing screws work but are a bit cheap. Better quality substitutes are recommended, especially if you have a damp, road-salt contaminated garage!
