All functions of the opener quit worker with the exception of door open function. Replaced the Safety Beams with this replacement kit and now all functions work properly along with the accessories.

they work for overhead door legacy 6amp 1/2 hp model 696cd/b had problems with day light shining on the original overhead door legacy sensors. took them apart and cleaned them, it didnt work. put long cylinders on the ends of them to block out the direct sensor sunlight, it didnt work. bought these safe-t-beam sensors and they work instantly! feels like the strike zone/ or beam sensor is slightly more narrow but all is good when it is super sunny and i can close the garage door when i am in a rush! great product!

These universal garage door replacement sensors ultimately worked, but they were tricky to install. When I pointed them directly at each other, they didnt work. I was ready to return them, but first I tried experimenting with different orientations. I found that one of the sensors needed to be about 15 degrees off axis before it would work. After that unexpected adjustment they worked perfectly. Much cheaper than calling a garage door repair company.
