Genie GSTB-R STB-BL Replacement Safety Beams, Black, 2 Pack, Black, one size (GSTB-R)

My garage door sensors were malfunctioning and since they were 20+ years old I decided to replace them. These were the exact same style as my old ones so I simply installed them in the identical spots with the existing wires. It took about 5 minutes per side to replace them. They worked instantly, no adjustments were needed.

The old sensor report error every day when there is reflection of sun light on it, the new one works right after the replacement, my garage door finally can be closed at any time.

Have an old Genie garage door opener. These are definitely the sensors for my opener. Installed them and they didnt work. Contacted Genie directly and they said these are the right sensors, but the wiring is tricky simply because there is a specific way you have to wire them. I switched a couple of wires at the sensor and they started working as advertised. Whole project including the time to call Genie took about 40 minutes. I recommend calling Genie if you have any problems replacing your old sensors.

I used these to replace my Overhead Door sensors. Super easy to install (for a 54 year old woman) and works perfectly!

Worked great

Garage would never shut when the sun was out (Phoenix Arizona here). Figured the sun was just blinding it. Read around and found that even with sun it should still shut. Bought this now it will close even if the sun is shining directly at either sensor. Apparently these things get weak over time.

Easy to install. Simple to align. Works perfectly with 20yr old genie opener. paid $30 on here and Home Depot wanted $40.

These sensors are not officially listed for a garage door opener as old as ours, but they work just great. Thanks to the Amazon reviewer who outlined in great detail how to use these to replace sensors which have 4 connecting wires rather than 2. I followed his instructions and these worked perfectly right off the bat. No problems since installation and I saved hundreds of dollars.
