These worked perfectly on my Genie IntelliG 1200 opener. 3 car garage, so the usual single and double doors. Somehow during the original install, the single doors sensor set did not come with the sun shield. These have that feature and for my south facing doors, it seems necessary. No problems during bright morning sun!

This is NOT a 2 pack. This is one set, meaning 2 sensors. Do not be fooled by the false advertising in the description.

After a brief flooding event of about 8” of seawater for a few hours, one sensor went bad. I replaced both in about 15 minutes time and my Genie Door opener was back in operation. These were identical to what came with my ReliaG 850.

I have an 18 year old ProMax garage door opener. I believe I broke the sensors when I was power washing my garage (got them wet). I bought these because they said they worked even for older systems. Sure enough they did and garage is working again. These looked very different than my old sensors but they were compatible and work fine. These are fairly compact which is nice, and the wiring connections (screw down) are easier/better than my old sensors which had connections which had push-in tension connectors where the wires could slip out if accidentally hit with a broom or something. Reasonably priced.

Easy install for a customers garage door.

Not compatible with ancient Genie garage door openers. One way to tell if it is compatible: - If your drive unit has 1 safety beam wire entering the unit, this item is NOT compatible with the genie drive. - If your drive unit has 2 safety beam wires entering the unit, this item IS compatible with the genie drive. Only knocked it down one star for visibility on the reviews. I have a set of these safety beams with my newer unit that work great.

Green sensor quit after 2 months.

Great durable beams. So much better than original equipment.
