I liked everything about this item. Thought I was going to have to buy a whole new garage door opener. Was extremely excited when I had someone tell me it sounded like the sensors were bad after house was struck by lightning. Replacement was a breeze, instructions were clear & easy!

My garage door would only go down if I held the wall control until the door was all the way down. I thought I would have to replace the sensors because the red light was not lit. I read several troubleshooting forums online and came across one that said to unplug the system and then plug it back in to reset the system. I tried that and it worked!! Didnt have to replace anything.

Great product and a piece of cake to install. Within fifteen minutes I had the old sensors off and these new ones in place. Garage door works like new.

Wish I had ordered these sooner instead of dealing with a busted sensor that sometimes works if you block all sunlight. The replacement sensors work perfectly and took exactly 20 minutes to install from unboxing to finish. Armed with only a screw driver most of that time was unscrewing the old mounts and then putting these up in the exact same place. Super easy. Cut off 5 minutes if you’re using power tools. Why did I wait!? Don’t be like me. Order now! (These replaced a mid-90s square sensor and no issues with working flawlessly).

Had to hold button to make garage door go down. Installed new sensors, and never have a problem with not going up or down anytime of day.
