Genie GSTB-R STB-BL Replacement Safety Beams, Black, 2 Pack, Black, one size (GSTB-R)

I recently had to replace several components of my garage door opener because of a lightening strike. This only took a few minutes to mount and put to work. Although I wish I could have used the old mounting, they are less intrusive than the old model sensors. Be careful of the wiring diagram also, because it didnt match my opener model. I had to go back to my models installation guide which I found online. The labeling is a misnomer in my opinion though. This is a set, as they should be sold because this is a matched set. Labeling them as a 2 Pack infers there is a spare.

Easy to install, simply remove the old safety beams and replace with new ones (can use the old mounting location and holes) and re-connect the wires.

Super Easy to Install! (15 mins install time) Worked great, didnt even need to adjust light beam. Glad I didnt call a repairman. ($125.00) for a service call.

Easy fix for non functional genie opener

I had trouble closings my garage door on bright sunny days. I went to the local genie garage door suppler but he said there was really nothing I could do about it. Implying that I should just buy a new system. I then checked Amazon to see if anyone else had the same problem. I did. So after a quick 20 minute replacement it works perfectly!

Worked great to replace broken square sensors on genie system that wouldnt close without holding the button down until the door was shut. So much better now its working correctly.

Great replacement for my older unit from 2001. Sturdy, and very easy to install. No problems at all.

My house was built in 2000. I kept having issues with the old sensors not working on bright sunny days. I tried various ways to shade the old sensors but they still didnt always work. I ordered this set and although it was a bit different from our original set that worked just fine. It screwed in to the existing holes and all you have to do is hook up 2 wires to each sensor.

Super easy install. Works great. Thays all I could ask for.
