Love these razors

These seem to work really well! Part of it is I hadn’t replaced my other head for… a while. …But regardless, these are nice. They did not leave my skin spotty like some other heads do when they are new, and I didn’t cut myself with it either. Smooth and useful!

Just discovered these razors and I am in love. They make my skin super smooth and do not break me out unlike other so called sensitive skin razors. Definitely worth investing in.

I got a very smooth shave, no nicks, no razor burn, My legs feel great. I forgot to use the shave cream that I usually use and was surprised to find out that I did not need it.

I normally buy the Gillette Venus Comfort Glide razors - the ones with big fat bars around the blades so you dont have to use shaving cream separately. I do this mostly because I dont like a million products in my shower, and I hate the trouble of getting a foamy lather on my legs just to shave in the shower - I want to lather up and rinse off and be done. I mistakenly thought this was a sensitive version of a comfort glide razor, not just a regular Venus razor, so I was worried my legs and underarms would be thrashed after shaving them with these since I didnt have any shaving cream. I figured we still had wintery weather, so if things go bad, I can wear tights or pants for a few more days and gave it a shot using my regular body wash. It clicked right into my Venus razor that I use for my comfort glide blades, and surprisingly went really well. I only got one knick on a bug bite I hadnt noticed on the back of my leg, but other than that, no noticeable razor burn even shaving with only body wash. It was smooth, easy, and I got a nice close shave. This razor also seems to last longer than my comfort glide blades, so Ive had a few more uses out of a single blade and less waste which has been a bonus. I like these and how much smaller they are than my comfort glides, so theyll be in my travel case more often than not. I still love the familiarity of my comfort glide blades, so Ill probably still use both, but these were much more impressive than I had originally expected.

These blades give a close, comfortable shave. The moisturizing strip is particularly useful when tending to little patches missed during the main process. Just when I think Venus has achieved the absolute pinnacle in razor blades they manage to do just a bit better.

These Gillette Venus Extra Smooth refills have additional lubricating strips, which helps for a close and smooth shave every time. And I like that these refills are fully compatible with the regular Venus razors handles that I already own. Which allows me to try new refills to see if I like them more than the Venus regular refills I was using before. I noticed the extra gliding, which is nice, and it doesnt require shaving cream. I learned this after applying shaving cream, and realizing that it was too slippery, so I rinse the shaving cream, and just shave with this razor over my wet skin. I guess that its better to do the shaving right after taking a shower, and having rinse the soap off. The result is less cuts, nearly none, and neat skin all over.

I have a Venus razor and always use the Oil of Olay moisturizing blades with it as I have sensitive skin. The Olay blades have two soap bars on each side so they provide comfort and protection as you shave. I was surprised that these Extra Smooth Sensitive blades felt as good as the Olay blades. They glided across the skin easily without any irritation. I cant compare them to the regular blades as I havent tried those but they do work as well as the moisturizing blades.

I love the Gillette Venus Extra Smooth Sensitive Womens Blade. Since I switched to this blade I am able to get the closest, smoothest shave on even the most awkward and tender places. I have had much less irritation and fewer bumps and ingrown hairs. The blades last for several uses and are easy to clean. The blades fit on any of the Gillette Venus handles.
