Gillette Venus Extra Smooth Sensitive Womens Razor Blade Refills, 4 Count, Designed for Women with Sensitive Skin

These refill cartridges each have five blades with lubrication and moisturizing ingredients in two strips. The wide, smooth guards surrounding the blades provide stability when shaving the curves of the legs but are somewhat awkward under the arms and when changing angles. I would prefer a smaller cartridge. Overall, they do a good job shaving large areas and are nicer than cheap disposables but are also significantly more expensive.

I like this brand. This razor shaves well and my skin was less irritated when using but the shave wasnt as close as it could be. Mainly I was a little disappointed that for something called Extra Smooth there wasnt a ton of extra moisturizing strips.

These must be knock offs. I read that all venus razor heads fit all handles, and my detachable handle is clearly not meant to fit in these!! Too late to return them!! I just went to teplace my blade with these today

Worked as it should close shave.

My wife has been using these blades for a while now. They are really nice and do not cause her to cut herself nor do they leave rashes. The blades are solid, the lubrastrip is really nice and it has a pivotal head that moves with your body. You do not have to worry about ripping off a strip of skin because the head didnt move the right way. This head will move however you need it to move. This blade stays sharp for about a month with normal shaving. You need to dry the blades off after each use and make sure the strip is not in bad shape. It seems the strip lasts just as long as the blades which is nice as well. If you have the Gillette system you could do a lot worse then using these blades. I do realize that blades are expensive, that being said, yes, they are. You need to get the best deal you can with the best blades possible. These blades last a while and with four blades they should last from three to four months.

Ive been using Gillette Venus razors for years now and think that they give a close shave on legs and underarms. I just tried the Extra Smooth Sensitive and they also performed very well. I have over age 60, fair skin and dont get razor burn, so maybe Im not the best judge for that problem, but my legs and underarms were smooth and silky afterward, so no complaints from me. Ive used one razor refill three times now and theres no sign of needing to replace the cartridge.
