These blades are pretty nice. I used on my legs and underarms. I usually have a hard time getting all the hair under my arms, especially with the other brand of razors that dont require shaving cream. This one seems to work much better and I didnt have to press very hard at all. The only complaint I have is too many blades. They are so close together that its kind of hard to rinse the little hairs out.

Wish I could give a ‘zero’ for all categories, including the overall’ rating. I should’ve known there was a reason behind the ‘BOGO’ sale for these ‘Gillette Venus Extra Smooth Sensitive Razors;’ unfortunately, the reason they were ‘BOGO’ is because they weren’t properly manufactured and likely missed the ‘quality control’ aspect. These are absolutely horrible and shame on ‘Gillette/Procter & Gamble’ for selling their product this way! I’m hoping to find a different brand of razors for sensitive skin that doesn’t incorporate maleficence and other shameful business ethics, what a disgrace! These are definitely a step up from the Venus three blade razors Ive used in the past but will not replace my Schick Hydro silk. The plastic surrounding the blades seems excessive in size whereas the actual razor area is much smaller than the competitors. I prefer a smaller head in shaving those tricky areas like knees but some may feel the larger head is safer. And as far as the tiny blue strip, I cant tell if it makes a difference. The other issue I have with the Venus razors is that although they do a good enough job when theyre new they seem to dull much faster than Schick.

These must be knock offs. I read that all venus razor heads fit all handles, and my detachable handle is clearly not meant to fit in these!! Too late to return them!! I just went to teplace my blade with these today

These are high quality replacement blades for Gillette venus line. These are optimized for womens shaving needs, but work find on men as well. The gender specificity of many personal care needs is more marketing than reality in my experience.

I normally buy the Gillette Venus Comfort Glide razors - the ones with big fat bars around the blades so you dont have to use shaving cream separately. I do this mostly because I dont like a million products in my shower, and I hate the trouble of getting a foamy lather on my legs just to shave in the shower - I want to lather up and rinse off and be done. I mistakenly thought this was a sensitive version of a comfort glide razor, not just a regular Venus razor, so I was worried my legs and underarms would be thrashed after shaving them with these since I didnt have any shaving cream. I figured we still had wintery weather, so if things go bad, I can wear tights or pants for a few more days and gave it a shot using my regular body wash. It clicked right into my Venus razor that I use for my comfort glide blades, and surprisingly went really well. I only got one knick on a bug bite I hadnt noticed on the back of my leg, but other than that, no noticeable razor burn even shaving with only body wash. It was smooth, easy, and I got a nice close shave. This razor also seems to last longer than my comfort glide blades, so Ive had a few more uses out of a single blade and less waste which has been a bonus. I like these and how much smaller they are than my comfort glides, so theyll be in my travel case more often than not. I still love the familiarity of my comfort glide blades, so Ill probably still use both, but these were much more impressive than I had originally expected.
