This is the first time I had used the extra smooth sensitive with five blades. It is probably one of the closest and smoothest shaves that I have had. My legs generally itch after shaving and I didnt feel it quite as bad with things. Ive also learned to crazy moisturize after shaving and that helps as well. These are easy to pop on and off and have a very wide head that I like. They move well and I have been using the same one for the last week with no issue. I also learned that to preserve The integrity of the blades you have to make sure that you dry your blades between use and that will keep them longer. They still feel brand new. Overall, I really like these and will absolutely order again.

I have a Venus razor and always use the Oil of Olay moisturizing blades with it as I have sensitive skin. The Olay blades have two soap bars on each side so they provide comfort and protection as you shave. I was surprised that these Extra Smooth Sensitive blades felt as good as the Olay blades. They glided across the skin easily without any irritation. I cant compare them to the regular blades as I havent tried those but they do work as well as the moisturizing blades.

My wife and daughter have used these for some time. They are their standard for shaving legs. They have tried other razor systems, including using my mens razors, and always come back to these. Way comfortable while still shaving closely. Nothing else works as well for them.

So scented products result in irritated skin in our house— we use these with a shave cream and they work great. While I’ve no clue what “sheerness” refers to in the context of razor blades, these don’t add to dryness however they are NOT moisturizing by any means.

I really dont understand why razors are so expensive. These are $19 for four which is the same price of the Oil of Olay ones with the wings. I always have to wait for a coupon. The sensitive strip worked which really surprised me. I didnt like that this type of razor didnt hang right in my holder with my old Venus handle. I didnt have a lot of itching after I shaved.

I know womens razors are targeted, over-priced and up-sold to women with pink handles at twice the price but, at the same time, I also feel like the Gilette Venus line, which Ive used for well over a decade now, is by far the best womens razor on the market, bar none. It is ridiculously pricey for a little bit of metal and plastic, but it also shaves so smooth I dont even need to use shave gel, and close enough I have no stubble. They really are the best of the best.

This razor works well in sensitive skin and does not irritate. The problem is that the width is small so you have to do a lot more work to get shaving done. Plus, there’s something about the shape that makes it impossible to reach all parts of my super skinny underarms. But the moisturizing bar is super, so worth it if you have really sensitive skin.

More and more of these shaving razors hit the market and are touted to be the best blade you could use! The companies change one little feature and one little design (in the blades and/or in the handle) and like magic and new wonder product… While this Gillette Venus Embrace Razor Blade does a smooth, non-irritating, and clean shaving job – it’s not much different from other shaving razors out there! This one has 5 blades that are closer together making it that much more susceptible to clogging. These razors are very sharp and if you shave regularly (daily or every other day), you could easily get one week use out of each! The lubrastrip seems to ease the gliding action as well as sooth the skin to help against irritation and burning. The handle is comfortable to grip and handle. And last but not least, shaving blades are a bit subjective. The skin and sensitivity of a person can make or break a wonder product… This one does a clean smooth shaving job!
