Gillette Venus Extra Smooth Sensitive Womens Razor Blade Refills, 4 Count, Designed for Women with Sensitive Skin

I love these razors. The handle has a nice, heavy feel and the blades ensure a smooth shave. They last a long time too especially if you place the razor somewhere it can dry out completely between uses.

We had to go out and buy a Gillette Venus, then dull the blade that came with it before trying out one of these heads. The verdict was, it gives a good close and smooth shave. I dont know that it is vastly better than other quality razors, but it worked well. The price point is good. At first I was very happy to see that there was no plastic packaging, but turned out that each razor head is encased in its own plastic bowl. Hoping for a plastic free packaging free future. I am happy for the refills.

I really like the Venus razors because they have the head that releases moisturizer that both precedes and follows the blade as it is pulled against my legs. This means that I dont need to use a shaving cream separate from the razor, so Im actually able to shave in the shower. The blades glide smoothly and give a really smooth shave. I dont have to worry about nicks and cuts at all.

These are definitely not for sensitive skin! They do not glide smoothly on the skin and they feel very rough as I use them. They do not feel comfortable to use and they also leave my skin feeling raw and irritated after I shave. I also get more cuts and scrapes when I use these razors than I ever have with other razors. They are razors, so they do what theyre supposed to do, but they do not fulfill their promise to be sensitive on the skin.

This is the first time I had used the extra smooth sensitive with five blades. It is probably one of the closest and smoothest shaves that I have had. My legs generally itch after shaving and I didnt feel it quite as bad with things. Ive also learned to crazy moisturize after shaving and that helps as well. These are easy to pop on and off and have a very wide head that I like. They move well and I have been using the same one for the last week with no issue. I also learned that to preserve The integrity of the blades you have to make sure that you dry your blades between use and that will keep them longer. They still feel brand new. Overall, I really like these and will absolutely order again.

Shaving sucks, these blades make it more bearable

I used to use the mens Gillette Mach3 razors, but they changed something about those refills and they dont work as well as the version from years past. So I changed to their Venus line, and I like these refills.

These refill cartridges each have five blades with lubrication and moisturizing ingredients in two strips. The wide, smooth guards surrounding the blades provide stability when shaving the curves of the legs but are somewhat awkward under the arms and when changing angles. I would prefer a smaller cartridge. Overall, they do a good job shaving large areas and are nicer than cheap disposables but are also significantly more expensive.

Just discovered these razors and I am in love. They make my skin super smooth and do not break me out unlike other so called sensitive skin razors. Definitely worth investing in.
