Gillette Venus Extra Smooth Sensitive Womens Razor Blade Refills, 4 Count, Designed for Women with Sensitive Skin

We had to go out and buy a Gillette Venus, then dull the blade that came with it before trying out one of these heads. The verdict was, it gives a good close and smooth shave. I dont know that it is vastly better than other quality razors, but it worked well. The price point is good. At first I was very happy to see that there was no plastic packaging, but turned out that each razor head is encased in its own plastic bowl. Hoping for a plastic free packaging free future. I am happy for the refills.

Shaving sucks, these blades make it more bearable

I hate cutting myself when I shave my legs so I really love these sensitive razors by Venus. These are refills so you have to already have a razor to put them on, but I think it saves a little money by doing it this way. Plus I hate throwing away a whole razor. This is much better for the environment. These razors were very smooth to use and even with a brand new blade I had no cuts or nicks. I love these razors. The handle has a nice, heavy feel and the blades ensure a smooth shave. They last a long time too especially if you place the razor somewhere it can dry out completely between uses.

These are definitely a step up from the Venus three blade razors Ive used in the past but will not replace my Schick Hydro silk. The plastic surrounding the blades seems excessive in size whereas the actual razor area is much smaller than the competitors. I prefer a smaller head in shaving those tricky areas like knees but some may feel the larger head is safer. And as far as the tiny blue strip, I cant tell if it makes a difference. The other issue I have with the Venus razors is that although they do a good enough job when theyre new they seem to dull much faster than Schick.

I’ve tried many different razors. This is the first razor I’ve found that doesn’t cause cuts. I have a subscription for this so I don’t run out.

These are my favorite Venus replacement heads so far. They shave smoothly, dont irritate my skin, and the price is good. Easy as always to install, and they last for weeks.

Shaving with these is easy and leaves far less cuts.
