> 24 hourI do triathlons and IRONMANS and GU is by far my go to. Some people dont like the texture or that you need to drink water with it. I love it for those reasons. Its not like a drink so a little chewing but I like that and the water I rinse swoosh it around and it give me the energy I need.

> 24 hourThe gel consistency was odd for me at first, but the flavor is good enough for this to overlook & by the 3rd packet I was used to it! I definitely feel a difference if I don’t take this for my weekly HIIT workouts. I’m definitely buying it again! Best flavors are espresso and caramel in my opinion :)

> 24 hourOk I admit that title is such a dad joke. Im sorry. However, Ive tried so many GU flavors and this is probably my favorite. The extra caffeine doesnt hurt either. Especially for those early morning long runs. If Im running late and dont have time for coffee these are a pretty good substitute. Have used these to get through half IMs, marathons, and other endurance events and they have always come through for me. They are just effective. Can tell the difference when I dont take them. Dont make me feel heavy or bloated afterwards. The other thing I really like about GU over say Hammer Gel is that the Gu packet is thin enough that I can fit it in my mouth and pull everything out with my teeth instead of having to push it up bit by bit like many other brands. Makes taking these in stride so much quicker and easier. Simply put these are my go to for many situations.

> 24 hourI bought these first at the store, single packets, and I started using them before my ride home after work. Usually by that time, after 10 hours, I am a little tired anyway, but I have found these give me that much more energy I need to go the distance without tiring before I get home, especially when the temperatures get really hot, high 90s to over 100 degrees. But I also work out with free weights. So one day when I was doing my leg workout, I did my sets of squats before the leg extensions etc., then decided I wanted to do some more squats. So I took a gel about 15 minutes before I was going to tackle it again and found I had a surge of energy to do 4 more sets with heavier weights, after my leg exts. So yes, these work quite well. The flavors I love the most are Espresso Love , (strange name but great taste) vanilla and chocolate outrage. But that is my preference since I am a lover of chocolate, and like who isnt? Another note, or update, (4-30-2011), I often use these after my workout (with weights) as an energy boost and recovery. Sometimes during a workout for the extra energy, but most likely to use it after. It works great, and at only 100 calories, it is just the right amount. The box is cheaper than buying the singles at the store, so for me it is the best way to go. I am sure there are other sports that could benefit from these gels. Buy it on Amazons subscription, and the price drops even more.

> 24 hourGreat taste and excellent balance of nutrition for a good price. These are hard to find in retail locations so great to find here and in quantity so you dont have to worry about running out. Pop in your pocket and after 30-45 minutes they give you a boost to finish .

> 24 hourMy husband and I ordered these in the midst of marathon training. The GU takes a while to get used to... initially the gel made me gag, but after a couple tries, I had the technique down and always look forward to GU time on my long runs. This GU gives you enough energy to push over your wall and keep running. I prefer GU to other energy gels like Glukos energy gel (which is really a liquid and I always spill it or choke on it). The espresso flavor is my favorite (and Ive tried them all), its like a dessert mid-run :)

> 24 hourOne is enough on an empty stomach for a quick 30min circuit. Obviously results may vary, but the gel is fast acting and tastes great with just enough caffeine to give you a boost at 5am when slamming a pre workout just doesnt sound appealing.
