GU Energy Original Sports Nutrition Energy Gel, 24-Count, Assorted Indulgent Flavors

I burned out on Gu a long time ago and for years avoided it. When I tried the French Toast Gu it reignited my love (and use) of gu. The flavor is unique (not all fruity or vanilla or chocolate) but not heavy. It has a yummy, buttery maple syrup flavor that isnt too sweet. Right now I alternate between French Toast gu and Toasted Smore GU and I actually look forward to taking nutrition during runs now. Perfect for long runs (pre or during nutrition).

A Gu helps me get moving for my masters swim class and also before and sometime during a bike ride. The Espresso Love and the Chocolate are my favorites.

Some say that the consistensy is a bit offputting but overall the flavors taste good. I have one a little bit over halfway through my long run and drink it down with some water. It provides energy and a boost of caffeine to keep me going!

Great taste and excellent balance of nutrition for a good price. These are hard to find in retail locations so great to find here and in quantity so you dont have to worry about running out. Pop in your pocket and after 30-45 minutes they give you a boost to finish .

Really good gu. Helpful on long runs. I used to just use during races, then decided to try on long training runs, after a run where I totally hit the wall. I feel so much more energy during run, and less depleted at the end. I take one before I start, and another after about 45 minutes if Im going to run for at least another half hour. Id like to get another flavor without caffeine for evening runs, but these have been great. Just use with care - you get it on your hands mid run, your are going to be a sticky mess :-)

I hadn’t tried these and have now tried many flavors and this is just beyond delicious if you love mint chocolate. Super helpful when you need energy on a bike ride or hike.

Not sending back because I’m using 23 GU’s from this box. Hopefully I’ll be able to remove the detritus from the ‘broken’ GU that has leaked onto the others. Box was in pristine shape but inside the box one of the GU’s broke open leaving a thick gooey mess among the others.

I have trained for 3 marathons. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE THINGS. I cant handle the vanilla or any other flavor but this mint one. They boost my energy and keep me running. Store easily in my water belt and I also sometimes tuck them in my bra strap. If you are a runner, you know what places we can fit things. Tear open easily while Im running, even with sweaty hands (I dont stop to open them). Cant rave enough about how great these things are. I know there are a lot of different types of energy gel brands, but if you are trying one out for the first time, try these!
