Herschel Novel Duffel Bag

This duffle bag is pretty small. Its seems over priced for the size and I have doubts about the durability of the plastic zipper. Other than that, its as advertised.

The zipper keeps splitting… is there warranty on this?

I purchased this duffel about 4 plus years ago but only used it on 6 or 7 occasions. I found for air travel a roller bag was more practical. I kept it well stored. When I went to use this last weekend I discovered a nearly pristine bag with a completely disintegrated leather handle. The leather had separated from the rope like material beneath. I contacted the company about a warranty. There was one, but the cost of returning the bag for a repair or credit was going to be more money that it was worth relative to the original costs of $70. I wasnt happy with the companys options, so I just bought some leather tape and will made due. My point. The product is poorly made and there are likely better choices out there. Also, their warranty is costly in my opinion. I would have thought they would at least provide return shipping label. They require you pay mailing and packing expenses which are not cheap to send a trackable item back to the manufacturer.

It works really good for a carry on item, you can easily have it for a 2 or 3 day trip. The quality is very good.

Looks clean, simple and classy without breaking the bank. The measurements a little deceiving if you’re not too familiar with dufflebags, especially if you make the extra effort to properly fold and organize it. Makes for a great “weekender” bag or for carry-on for longer trips.

This is a great gym bag. My husband can fit everything in it and it’s ruddy. High recommend

It’s a Herschel. Nothing to complain so far.

I really like this style of Herschel duffel, and this is the second one that I have bought from them, both via Amazon. However, this one shipped without a shoulder strap attachment, so Im wondering if that was a mistake or if the strap no longer comes with the bag. The bag is designed with the same clips for a strap as my previous duffel of the same style and make. The bag is great, just was hoping to have the same strap as before.
