> 24 hourIt says it’s powerful but have not found it to be the case. The capacity is limited. It’s a smaller fan than I anticipated based on the website description it is not as efficient either.

> 24 hourThis fan works so well we bought multiple for our home its not too bulky and doesnt take up too much space. The speed levels are nice cause it can be very mellow to a stronger air flow. It also is pretty quiet as far as fans go. Would recommend!

> 24 hourI bought this fan because it has 8 speeds. The 2 lowest settings on this fan are even lower than the low setting on other fans of this size. Think of them as extra low settings. The lowest setting is like a very slight gentle breeze and I mean very slight. The 2nd setting is just ever so slightly more powerful than the first. I love it. As it goes up by about the 5th setting youre at medium. Its so much better than just low, medium, & high on other fans. It solved a problem I was having because Im super picky about temperature and air flow. I live in So Cal so during winter I like to sleep with the window open to make my room cold to where I can sleep comfortably with a blanket. The problem I have in spring and fall is that Im too warm even with the window open so I put a fan by the window to blow the cool outside air on me. The problem is some nights its too cold with the fan even on low. At times Im too warm or to cold I just cant get right. But now having these extra low settings on this new fan is perfect. I have a couple problems with it. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could but it gets 5 because of the extra low settings that I love. Reasons for 4.5 stars is the price. This fan is kind of light in weight and seems a little cheaply made. Dont get me wrong its not that cheaply made, I just expected a little more for the price. I would say this fan should be more like $45- $50 instead of $67 which is what I paid. Not a huge difference but still. Maybe its the different settings and the control panel that lights up thats driving the price up a little. I also wished the high setting was a little more powerful. This fan is definitely for a small to medium room. Otherwise keep it somewhat close to you. If you have a large room and the fan is at the furthest possible point away from you this fan wont be powerful enough.

> 24 hourI am doing my best to save money thanks to COVID-19, so the plan was to avoid turning on the AC for as long as possible. I was drawn to this fan because I wanted something I could move around somewhat easily, and didn’t want it to be an eyesore. I will say this fan is very quiet; you can hardly tell it’s on. Because we have this in the living room, so it’s on while we’re watching tv, and I plan to keep it next to me while I work from home and on conference calls all day, I give it 5 stars for noise level and its sleek appeal. We can have it on full blast next to the tv and it hardly interferes. It’s lightweight and can easily be moved to other areas of the house at any time. However, I am disappointed in its power. The other fan system we have in the house is a window fan, and I think this unit’s highest setting is comparable to the low or medium setting on the window fan. If you’re looking for power, I’d keep looking. But if you need something quiet with a sleek look, this may be the right unit for you. The remote is also a plus for us, since we keep it near the tv in the living room and the remote is kept with our other remotes.

> 24 hourOverall a great product. A large variety of speeds and runs relatively quiet at all of them; oscillates with a wide range and fits great in a corner to provide airflow to a medium sized room when you want to cool down but dont need to turn on the a/c. My only gripe is that the base feels cheap and flimsy. The fan itself will outlast its mount for sure.

> 24 hourTo begin with, no fan is a substitute of an AC system, those that use one need to understand thermodynamics, AC units remove the heat from the room and have super-cooling methods that wouldnt be used in a fan. To get air OUT of a room, you need an exit, an open door, window, etc. I use mine in support of our AC unit, which is all the way in the living room (and struggles to reach my room). Fans are mainly intended to keep the air circulating, but by doing so also slightly (but noticeably in enclosed environments, far more than in open) increase the temperature as a byproduct. However, fans do make it more bearable, and make a significant difference when centered onto the person in question. Its a rather quiet, and tall fan, as opposed to the arguably much stronger, less efficient, and louder box fan that I used to have. This fan does rotate, has multiple settings including ones (that at the lower levels) are little more than white noise, meaning it can be used to give a slight cooling sensation, without being overwhelming, while also staying just loud enough to drown out the disturbances of the night, an owl hooting at an odd hour, birds flying around, etc. Is it perfect, no, in my case my bed happens to be too tall (which I had just set up a day prior to receiving the fan) to make the full use of the fan at night, however the white noise helps with sleeping, and it still does keep a good deal of the heat off at night. I would recommend it to someone who understood what they were looking for in a fan, and what they would be getting. If you are looking for a fan, not an AC unit, this is something that I would recommend.

> 24 hour*TL:DR* Im dinging this review low despite the product being so amazing, because amazons Used Products policy is terrible. Maybe this will get someones attention, who knows. Used Fan was missing locking nut and thumbscrews for the base. I looked at my order here on Amazon and I couldnt find any way to message about the missing parts, when I clicked support on the order I was directed to a page with Honeywells contact information. I ended up ordering a replacement parts from Honeywell, because Amazons only form of support was to direct me to Honeywell. In this case I dont feel its Honeywells responsibility to replace parts that Amazon lost when repackaging this product. Honeywell did so, happily, at no expense to me. I would totally come back and make this review 5 stars if Amazon can step up and provide some actual answers or support for what is obviously an error on Amazons behalf. ***** Bought this fan used and I couldnt be happier with the performance of the fan. Used description said new product with damaged packaging. Sure enough the packaging was in tatters, the Thank you for giving this product a second life - Amazon stickers slapped all over the box was the only thing really keeping it together. Despite the sorry state of the box, at first look the fan sure does look new. Inside the box are a cardboard insert, the Fan (wrapped in plastic), two halves of the base (individually wrapped in plastic), the Remote (wrapped in plastic), and and assembly instruction card. No warranty card, no manual. The instruction card shows step 1 as how to snap the base together, and step 2 shows how to remove the locking nut from the base of the fan. Heres where I run into an issue: There isnt one on the bottom of the fan. I can see the threads where it would be screwed on, and its not there. I go back and check the box, nothing. Step 3 and 4 show how to align the fan to the base and secure it using the locking nut. At this point I figure I just want to see how the fan works, Ill worry about securing it later. And wow, this fan is amazing. Even on its lowest setting the airflow is considerable and the fan is almost completely silent, and on its highest setting the fan is still quiet while pushing out a considerable amount of air. And with 8 different settings you can find the balance that fits for you, mine is probably 6 or 7. The sleep setting was a must, and works as intended with options for 1, 2, 4 and 8 hours. There oscillation setting only goes in what looks to be a 90* angle, but that suits my needs perfectly. There is a button for changing the brightness of the LED on the fan, it doesnt bother me to much at its brightest but its a nice feature to have. (note about a flaw with the remote and this button/feature below) The remote is super handy and works pretty well. One issue I noticed is that there is no light setting on the remote and when you change the fan speed it resets the indicator light on the fan. The light isnt super bright at its brightest, but Im sure it could bother others more than it does me, so I mention it anyways. I cant speak for the range, its across the room from my desk but less than 20 feet away. Overall Im very happy with my fan and Im sure Ill be even happier when its fully and properly assembled with all the proper parts. Currently I have some tie wire carefully wrapped around the threads and gorilla tape wrapped around that to secure the fan to the base. Its pretty sturdy with this temporary fix while Im waiting on Honeywells parts to come in.

> 24 hourSo far! I love this fan! It has continually performed well for over a year and when I say continually I mean every day and mostly all the hours Im in my bedroom year round. Its quiet, I like the many settings and the option to dim and turn off the light is a real bonus at bedtime. Ive been traumatized each of the three times I knocked it over and it bounced off the floor. No problems. Whew. Its still quiet and youd never know it fell. I bought another tower fan from Costco at a lower price than this one for the kitchen and that one is a piece of junk compared to this one. Ive become one of those people who cant sleep without a fan running because of this purchase. The timer is a bonus too though I rarely use it. 100% very satisfied consumer!

> 24 hourI wanted a fan that could circulate air in my office while Im on meetings, without creating a bunch of background white noise. I tried an Optimus table fan, which was too loud to cancel out. I tried another tower fan, a Lasko 42 tower fan, which is equally loud on its lowest setting (but also moves a lot of air). THis one is phenomenally quiet. It is barely audible even in an extremely quiet, sound-isolated library/office room. On its lowest mode it is sufficient to feel a breeze clear across the room, 15 feet away. I wish it was a bit more aesthetically appealing - wood-grain fascia like the Lasko fan, or different color options / combinations that could be more interesting, more pleasing to look at, amid different decors. The remote control is also a very odd thing. Its shaped like a little box, not hand-shaped like any normal remote control, longer and slender. That having been said, it works well. Theres a small rattle noise that comes from the motor - whatever worm gear oscillates the fan back and forth. It seems this should be designed not to make extra noise, and maybe to be greased with some durable grease - white lithium or the like. This would render the entire device effectively inaudible, in all but the quietest environments and to those with the most acute of hearing. All that having been said, it is so quiet and works so well that I felt compelled to write a review. Its just a fan - but it does as it reads on the label. It is very quiet.
