Bought this fan based on the amazon recommendation and reviews. I want to point out a few things to those buying this as well as the manufacturer: Yes, this is a fan that works and operates like most fans. It comes in black and white. The black version has more speeds than the white version (Why?). It has various speeds, a power button, the ability to shut off the LEDs, it oscilates, and it comes with a remote. Right out of the box you will notice the poor quality and lack of thought that went into this fan. It feels like plastic junk from China. The base of the fan is detached from the fan and it requires some assembly. The base is plastic and feels very flimsy; like you might break it snapping it and screwing it together. One might think that they did this to shorten the height of the box, but it still takes up the full vertical height of the fully assembled fan. It was a poorly executed out of box experience and the product manager and packaging team are to blame here. The remote, which resembles a garage door opener from the 1980s is a great example as to why Honeywell is not top of mind when it comes to products you want in your home. The remote is silver, and should be black to match the fan. It is flat out ugly and serves zero purpose from an ergonomic standpoint and is limited to 3 functions. Why not add the ability to shut off the lights or change the sleep timer? This is a missed opportunity. Also, my remote did not come with batteries. This part really got me fired up to write this review. The LEDs that are on board are low-powered and not that bright. To shut the LEDs off, it requires you to physically get up and walk over to the fan and press the light button FOUR times in order for the lights to be turned off. Im not sure if upper management got involved in the process here and insisted on this feature or if the research team heard that customers demanded four levels of brightness, but its a fact that most users humans are used to interacting with light in two states; on and off. Tip to Honeywell: Build your products with love, thought, and higher-quality materials. People will pay a higher price and want them in their homes forever.

I like the number of different speeds, it’s quite I had no problems with any of them.

It does its job well. The remote and timer settings are very helpful. Well-thought design occupies very less space and fits anywhere.

My friend has one of these in every room of her house and I see why! Keeps rooms cool and Im hoping that will cut down on my air-conditioning cost this year. I love the different air functions and speeds. Cant wait to order more.

The fan is fine BUT the base will not get tight because the watcher or what ever you call it will not tighten up it turns some and then just locks

I bought this fan because it has 8 speeds. The 2 lowest settings on this fan are even lower than the low setting on other fans of this size. Think of them as extra low settings. The lowest setting is like a very slight gentle breeze and I mean very slight. The 2nd setting is just ever so slightly more powerful than the first. I love it. As it goes up by about the 5th setting youre at medium. Its so much better than just low, medium, & high on other fans. It solved a problem I was having because Im super picky about temperature and air flow. I live in So Cal so during winter I like to sleep with the window open to make my room cold to where I can sleep comfortably with a blanket. The problem I have in spring and fall is that Im too warm even with the window open so I put a fan by the window to blow the cool outside air on me. The problem is some nights its too cold with the fan even on low. At times Im too warm or to cold I just cant get right. But now having these extra low settings on this new fan is perfect. I have a couple problems with it. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could but it gets 5 because of the extra low settings that I love. Reasons for 4.5 stars is the price. This fan is kind of light in weight and seems a little cheaply made. Dont get me wrong its not that cheaply made, I just expected a little more for the price. I would say this fan should be more like $45- $50 instead of $67 which is what I paid. Not a huge difference but still. Maybe its the different settings and the control panel that lights up thats driving the price up a little. I also wished the high setting was a little more powerful. This fan is definitely for a small to medium room. Otherwise keep it somewhat close to you. If you have a large room and the fan is at the furthest possible point away from you this fan wont be powerful enough.

The first one we ordered had a broken fan motor possibly. It made a loud noise intermittently, but the replacement works great. Quiet and decent air flow on low mode even. We keep it on high as its quiet. It does have a nice white noise mode too where it creates a rumble-like sound. Also shipped quicker than advertised(received next day).

cant rate the options because I cant get the fan together. The directions are poor. I simply have to put the fan onto the base but no indication which is the back. Nor when adding the fan to the base it doesnt connect with anything at all. I finally got it together and have to admit it is extremely quiet and I am very pleased with it

This thing is great! I love how many options of speed there are, and the range on the oscillation setting is massive, it truly reaches the whole room. I have this in my master room for air flow/cooling and also white noise at night, and it is super at both. The lowest setting is almost undetectably quiet but still puts out a good bit of air flow. The highest setting is pretty dang powerful for such a small fan, with a still very quiet sound, and really truly cools down the room (doesn’t just move air), or at least feels like it. It’s honestly almost not loud enough, my last fan was way loud so I was used to it. I LOVE the option on top to turn down the light on the display; it can dim it to three or four different levels, the lowest being off- which is super nice for at night. The remote is cool, I need to get batteries for it but it seems convenient. Installation was the easiest ever, you just unscrew the red thing from the base, snap the two base pieces together w/ the cord in the middle, and screw the red thing all the way down. Took like 30 seconds. It looks super nice also, it’s super lightweight but doesn’t look cheap. Hoping it lasts a long long time! 10/10 recommend!
