Honeywell QuietSet Whole Room Tower Fan-Black, HYF290B

The first one we ordered had a broken fan motor possibly. It made a loud noise intermittently, but the replacement works great. Quiet and decent air flow on low mode even. We keep it on high as its quiet. It does have a nice white noise mode too where it creates a rumble-like sound. Also shipped quicker than advertised(received next day).

I absolutely have loved my fan for the several years I’ve had it. That being said, it is hard to keep clean, and cannot handle being knocked over (even on a carpeted floor). One bad fall and my fan now rattles loudly every time I use it. I would still absolutely recommend this brand and model though!

I was skeptical when I bought it because I didn’t think it would cool all as quickly as it does and it’s quiet unless you crank it up. Right now I. Sitting probably 10-12 feet away and I can feel the cool breeze. Just bought another one for the bedroom which is upstairs and as most two floor homes it’s always hotter on the second floor. Hope it works as well.

The title says it. The fan makes a cracking sound every time it’s oscillating, so I keep it still (I can’t sleep with it doing that). Other than that, it does its job.

The product is ok, the RPM is low that makes air flow less effective, design and looks are great, little costly compare to other brands available

The fan is fine BUT the base will not get tight because the watcher or what ever you call it will not tighten up it turns some and then just locks

As you can see in the picture Sleep through Power Cool they are making it sound like a noisemaker. But, this is actually the levels of fan coolness & the noise is whatever noise the fan makes from each level. You can not chang the noise you can only change the sleep mode which is timer & fan levels 1(sleep)-8(power cool).

Im in a small three room cottage and the central heat and A/C does not evenly distribute the temperature. I set this in a corner on Sleep and Circulate and problem solved! I had forgot it was there until I got this request for a review.
