Howard Products BBB012 Cutting Board Oil, 12 oz

The oil is great, it will probably last me a year or more. I have not yet figured out how to cancel the subscription so I dont end up with a 10 year supply.

I read reviews on mineral oils for treating wood cutting boards . This was rated high . So I ordered it and am giving it a try . So far it’s ok !

Not really much to say about it. Does exactly what it’s supposed to. Absorbs into the wood quickly giving it a great color!

This oil worked well for everything I put it on - wood chop sticks, some wooden spoons, even my bamboo tofu press and an old Indian flute. HOWEVER - I did not use gloves, and got it all over my hands for the twenty minutes or so that I was oiling my stuff. I cleaned it off with automotive grade hand cleaner, but by then it was too late and my hands BURNED for several days afterwards. I deduct one star for no warning to wear protective gloves when you use this stuff. It left my hands raw and sensitive for days after using it. I did not know that mineral oil could do this, but I do now! Other than that, Im happy with how it was absorbed into the wood I treated with it, and being mineral oil, should give the wood the kind of protection you expect from mineral oil. No scent, no color, very nice oil.

Works on my wood cutting board using a little goes a long way

Wiped over my bamboo cutting board and it looks like new. Keeps it looking like new and heals any cuts or scratches.

Used this on my hand crafted cutting board made of multiple kinds of wood. Ive used this oil on an actual butchers block as well, and both times Ive gotten great results. There is no scent, but I gave it 5 stars for smell because I dont want my cutting board to smell like anything, that would definitely ruin my dinner!

Used it on my cutting bamboo board. It seems to be doing a fantastic job. Im still using the cutting board like new after a year or so. Make sure to use this product or other products, before using your cutting boards. I like this product but theres others available. It a matter of personal choice.
