> 3 dayadmittedly,I got this on Prime day, so the <$650 price tag is a big factor here. Based on that price though, this thing is pretty amazing. So far it has booted quickly, touchscreen works well, and the tablet mode is great. The keyboard is nice enough, the touchpad is ok, but did not have a left or right click (But within a few minutes I was getting used to the difference between one two and three finger taps).

> 3 dayFirst off, I need to address all the bad reviews regarding this computers lack of fingerprint reader and backlit keyboard. Yes, I believe the video provided showed a fingerprint reader on the computer. However, the photos do not show this and the tech specs given below the initial photos and item name do not list these features. I was worried I would be getting a bad computer if folks were complaining that it hadnt even come with the features it claimed to have but, with the exception of the company video which seems like a generic one for the HP 360 lineup, the item description makes no such claims. I even typed in the model number atother websites to double check and NOPE. Im convinced folks watched the promo video without doing their homework. So, that being said:

Greater than one weekReceived the HP Pavilion today, followed set up instructions. Plugged in laptop, powered on....took about 5 minutes to load. Started the set up process, suddenly the screen went black, and power light turned off. Called HP and Amazon to try trouble shooting, they recommended returning the product because it should have turned on even right out of the box as long as it was plugged in. Tried multiple plug outlets as well. Processed a return through amazon. Now I have to pack it up and bring to UPS store. The fan is still running on the laptop but there are no lights on so I have to wait until it completely dies before boxing it up. Customer service was very friendly but I just cannot trust HP at this point so I will be buying a Dell now.

> 3 dayI have owned several HP computers and several other HP printers. I have always appreciated the quality of any HP hardware. And this laptop does disappoint. I especially appreciate the full keyboard. OK, it doesnt have a full numeric keypad, but it does have separate Delete, Home Page Up, Page Down, and End key. And those keys are not not shared with any other function. In other words, pressing, say, the End key, takes you to the end. It has a generous 256G SSD. Additionally, it has a full-size HDMI socket--no need for an adapter. Of course it has a touch screen that works in the usual ways. This may be the my last laptop.

> 3 dayFresh out the box review and first impressions: I was confused by the reviews of people, saying they had a black keyboard and no fingerprint, but the laptop I received looks just like the one in the image, so I have no problems with that. It worked pretty easily, and was easy to set up as well. I haven’t started using it to do heavy data work to see how fast it actually is but I’m hoping that it works just as well as a similar laptop that I used and decided to purchase this one. I had an ASUS laptop beforehand and that was kind of slow and it was cheap so I decided to splurge extra for this and hoping that it ends up working out and if not, I guess I’ll be contacting the seller soon :)

> 3 dayFor the 600-700 dollar price point this is a very highly specced and featured notebook. You pay a price to meet this price point. It wont match a Dell XPS in thinness or bezel size. They are pretty big. It also is let down by a cheap plastic bottom. Still it spent the money where it matters the screen is fantastic bright and responsive, the keyboard is actually great with tons of travel and good key separation.
