Greater than one weekReceived the HP Pavilion today, followed set up instructions. Plugged in laptop, powered on....took about 5 minutes to load. Started the set up process, suddenly the screen went black, and power light turned off. Called HP and Amazon to try trouble shooting, they recommended returning the product because it should have turned on even right out of the box as long as it was plugged in. Tried multiple plug outlets as well. Processed a return through amazon. Now I have to pack it up and bring to UPS store. The fan is still running on the laptop but there are no lights on so I have to wait until it completely dies before boxing it up. Customer service was very friendly but I just cannot trust HP at this point so I will be buying a Dell now.

> 3 dayThis listing specifically describes the 2021 model. Silver. Backlit keyboard. Fingerprint Scanner. They are sending out the 2020 model which the keyboard doesnt light up, it doesnt have the fingerprint scanner, and its not even the same color! I guess people are too dumb to tell the difference.

> 3 dayIve been using this for 30 days now (before writing the review), and Im not going to nitpick. This is a solid portable PC for office, desktop, and internet tasks. The screen is bright, the speakers are decent, the processor is snappy, the disk performance is fast, the port selection is good, the keyboard is usable, and you can fold it back completely (though you will probably rarely do that). The battery life is ok (probably above average) if you keep your screen at 50-60% brightness. You can play some Steam Games (especially those 2-3 years old like Elder Scrolls Online) at 1280x720 with decent performance if they are not resource hogs with 30-60fps performance... and it does fine with platform games like Trine. My only legitimate complaint is that it doesnt use standard USB-C adapater (it has a proprietary power plug), but it does charge from 0-50% in about 40 minutes. And, if you INSIST on having something to complain about, the track pad shows oily fingerprints (if you have OCD).

> 3 dayMy normal go to when looking at Windows touchscreens is a Surface or Surface book, but this little laptop comes in a close second. The Screen is bright and easy to see (although not good at all in the sun). The keyboard is fantastic (one of the best Ive seen in a laptop). The only thing keeping this from getting 5 stars is the trackpad...it has some play in it and doesnt feel anywhere near as nice and quality as the rest of this laptop.
