> 24 hourhow can it call itself a scanner?!!! **£%*&@! the amount of grain it produce when scanning a photo / print is unbelievable! any entry level scanner produce 10 years ago would do a better job.

> 24 hourI wish Id had the chance to read these reviews before purchasing this printer... The first printer I purchased jammed right away, and evidently I messed up something when I cleared the jam because it squeaked incredibly after that. I almost immediately started running into issues with the paper jamming every time/paper not pulling through or, if I got lucky, pulling several pages through at once so the type ended up misaligned. I saw another one at a garage sale and thought I could start fresh. Even though it was in great, like new condition, it started having jamming issues shortly after I started using it as well. About the only way to coax the paper on through was to lift up the front edge of the paper as the printer tried to pull it in and give it slight pressure to help the printer grab the paper. For mutiple page documents or several copies, babysitting the printer like this is a tedious and insane. I really have better things to do with my time. I hate to stop using it since I have several ink cartridges to use up (which, by the way, do get used up fairly quickly). But Im not looking forward to printing 100 Christmas letters and standing by the printer all day to babysit. I used to believe that HP was the gold standard when it came to printers. Now they must be more concerned with quantity vs. quality. I give it 2 stars only because when it does print, the quality is nice.

> 24 hourThis printer was an excellent buy. I was replacing an older HP printer so I had the Power supply and cord. I did not need the manual. The price reflected not having the power cord or manual. Very Happy with purchase.

> 24 hourThe 1510 has some serious flaws in it. The most serious flaw that I have found is the lack of ink in the cartridges. There is only 5 ml of ink in each cartridge. That is only 1 teaspoon of ink. This means that you will be replacing the cartridges often. And at about $35 for both cartridges, you will quickly spend more on ink than you spent on the printer. By comparison, the cartridges in the HP 1350 hold about 19 ml of ink. Nearly 4 times the amount of ink and the pair of cartridges cost about $40. Save yourself some money and check how much the ink cartridges hold before you buy.

> 24 hourAfter just 2 months of minor home printing, this printer started drawing paper from just the right side. It immediatly jammed. repeated attempts to get it to clear were unsuccessful. If you get lucky the first page might go through, buit after that it jams again. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER!!!

> 24 hourThis printer eats ink like crazy! I occassionally print pages off the web, and Im changing the cartridges more than once a month. I would guess Im getting 50-70 pages per cartridge. Its very disappointing. I cant afford to print anything! Im going to try something I never thought I would - refilled ink cartridges! Otherwise, I would be satisfied with the printer. It scans well, prints well. Ive had no trouble with compatibility (Win XP) as others here report. Ill count my blessings on that! But next time, Ill buy another brand.

> 24 hourEats ink cartridges, poor feed mechanism, finally failed completely. Actually the print quality was pretty good when it worked, but the bitter experience of feeding $10,000/gallon ink to the thing dominates my impressions. I will GLADLY drop-kick this thing off a high rooftop and never buy another HP product. EVER!!

> 24 hourI am so disappointed with this printer. I bought it online because it was very economically priced for an all-in-one that also had the flat bed scanner. If you read the other reviews, all of the problems people are talking about are true! This printer is practically new and after a few weeks (and I hardly used it) I noticed that the darn printer kept giving me errors that it couldnt detect the paper. Very frustrating when youre in a hurry and trying to scan important documents!! I absolutely hate this printer and Im going to return it and get something completely different. Shame on HP for making such a poor printer...

> 24 hourThis product totally sucks! I have to agree with 100% of the other negative reviews on this product when it comes to the paper feed. One word of advise ... DONT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!! Another word of advise ... Dont use the online chat help function when contacting HP! When the printer first started to fail I had to hand feed the paper. Then after the printer sat for 3-4 months because I was out of ink ... Then once I replaced the ink the paper would not feed at all. After spending two hours online with a tech person he couldnt help. Then I couldnt get any assistance on the phone. Im now trying to get my money back for the $35.00 I just spent on ink. Wish me luck!
