> 24 hourI read all your reviews and I was amazed to find that most people thought it was a good printer. After I purchased one, I found several things that troubled me. First, the program for the printer has a secret. It installs another user into your system. I thought something was weird when I had to log in to my computer, which was a single user system (Win XP). There were other changes to my system that I can only explain as glitches. For some reason, this affected a few programs and I will probably end up un-installing and re-installing most of them including my antivirus software. It stopped the scheduled scanning the day I installed this program. What a coincidence. There were other issues... Although the print preview works, it does not truly print the same as the preview. Its always a little off center. There were issues with the paper I was using and this printer would not let me use any type of odd sizes no matter what adjustments I made. The photo itself was not as good as a real photo - pretty close, but not better. If you clicked on the help feature, the program took you to a web page. This would have been fine except that the last should have been / so I kept getting a This page cannot be displayed. error. If I corrected the /, the page worked perfectly. I must give credit to the HP support desk. They admitted that the program does create another user (and that I could delete it without issue). They tried to help me with the other issues and were very fast with replies but I am only willing to un-install and re-install the program 3 times (which is what I did). In the end, I think they knew that they could not help me and gave up. I printed about 30-40 photos and ran out of the tri-color ink. That was the final straw and I will be returning this printer never to buy another HP printer again. After re-reading the other reviews I thought I bought a lemon but after three installs with the same results, it must be something else. If you decide to buy... good luck.

> 24 hourIve had this printer for a few years simply because I dont print that much and dont want to spend much money on something I rarely use. This printer has never been able to print a decent picture. It has always needed frequent cartridge changes even though I print very few pages (I finally found an alternative to buying the hugely overpriced HP cartridges). The paper feeder has also always been a pain as many other raters mentioned. Bottom line is that this product is a piece of crap and as previous raters have mentioned I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HEWLETT-PACKARD PRINTER!!!

> 24 hourI purchased this reconditioned HP PSC 1510 printer to replace the same model which had died. I wanted to stick with something I knew, with reasonably priced cartridges and decent print quality. The printer worked fine right out of the box and has been working fine for a few months now. My last model was a bit noisy and so is this one, but it does everything its suppose to do (scan/copy/print).

> 24 hourYou will face two expensive choices if you do: (1) letting it print a test page everytime you turn it on, using up paper and expensive ink, OR (2) leaving it turned on the rest of your life and running up your electricity bill. Frankly, these machines are an environmental disaster and HP should have been forced to recall them. Thousands and thousands of complaints about this problem on the internet.

> 24 hourIt says it prints on paper up to 110lbs, yea, Id be happy to get some 30lb through! Envelopes, yea thats another dream. Im going back to Epson! True this is just a lashing out after spending hours unjamming and reloading and what not, but I feel I should share, I hope this helps someone. Not a printer for mixed media, if you are just going to use paper, 20lb its an okay printer, the copier has come in handy more than once, but dont try to be creative!

> 24 hourThis product does everything I want it to do. Initially, I had a problem setting it up but that was my fault. The technical team at Quality Printers walked me through the set up and I am very happy for their support. I would encourage anybody who is thinking of a printer or other computer related products to talk to Quality Printers first. You wont be disappointed. Sincerely, Dana Weishaar

> 24 hourThis printer worked just fine for one week. Then the paper jams began. HPs technical support person could only suggest that I clean the printer with a damp rag! The printers performance continued to deteriorate, with frequent paper jams and incorrect out of paper messages. Also, the printer could not print labels properly -- they were always misaligned and unusable. After a month, the printer stopped working completely as it became completely unable to recognize that there was paper in the paper tray. I called HP and they demanded a credit card number as collateral before they would honor the warranty. Needless to say, this is the last HP product I will ever purchase.

> 24 hourThe first one I had would not feed paper after 2 weeks. I took it back to the store. The replacement would not feed paper after 1 week. Im NOT going back to the store for a 3rd printer like this. Do not buy one of these printers because they have torturous paper feed issues!

> 24 hourThis All- in- one is just right. Its price is great and the copies come out clear and sharp. Paper(s) feeds though with no problems, but I havent used the scanner as yet. For me this is just superb and I am in no hurry if the speed is not as fast as other models. This suits my purpose. As far as the ink goes I do agree that they can improve on this. It really is not enough ink and it does run out fast. But on the whole its a fine product.
