> 3 dayI am a die-hard hp user. After 7 years on the last one, I thought Id trade up-- big mistake. The paper feeder is defunct. Even after several calls/emails to tech support, the paper simply will not load. I cannot advise anyone to purchase this printer at any price and I am returning mine tomorrow.

> 3 dayDont buy this machine. My husband and I have been loyal HP printer customer for years. Only reason I bought a new one was because my new computer only accepts USB and my old HP printer was a parrallel port (thats how long my old HP has been working perfectly, and still is; gave to a friend). I purchased the HP PSC 1510 for my home office thinking adding copy and scanning capabilites would be nice conveniences. Im on my second one and its now doing the same thing: doesnt feed paper(regardless of what kind you use to try and please it) no customer service at Help button-links to sales web site no customer service assistance on phone Ink cartridges VERY small....replace constantly and they are expensive Does HP make a decent model under $200 anymore? Im returning this one too. Takes up my whole day fiddling with it. Dont need a fax. Just color printer, occasional copies, and scanner. Shame on HP. [email protected]

> 3 dayI have had my printer for about 10 or 11 months. I have had very minor problems with the paper feeding through; it has never jammed, but sometimes it does feed through more than one sheet at a time. The only thing about this printer that does really frustrate me is that after I replaced my black ink cartridge with another (and it was genuine HP ink), my printer now prints a test page every time I turn it on, without fail. I havent been able to figure out why or how to stop it. But other than that, Im happy with my printer. The print quality is very good, and my issues with the printer feeding through more than one piece of paper at a time rarely happens.

> 3 dayIll start by saying that before I bought this printer I worked at Circuit City in the technology department and sold a lot of printers. A lot of the complaints I have read in the reviews section were complaints that I head about almost every single model I sold at the time. Point is printers have sunk to the point of being considered disposable technology by the manufacturers and they build them so cheap and sell them cheap just to make it up on ink sales. In the reviews there are a lot of people with paper feeding problems but in over 17 months of use I only occassionally have a paper feed problem and thats just 2 pages at a time. I print about 200 pages a week so it sees a lot of use. We do use high quality 20-40 weight paper designed for use in inkjets instead of the more generic copier paper that, in my experience, most people prefer to use. Like most printers these days it does eat ink cartridges, even using ink conservation settings I go through a cartridge about every 200 or so pages. We bought the printer because it had decent speed and fit in the space and provided the asthetics that we wanted. As for its photo performance I cant comment on that, I just use the printer for printing text doccuments as I have a professional inkjet photo printer for my high quality image printing.

> 3 dayThis All-in-one printer is truly a wondrous little machine. I was fortunate to be a product tester and this printer was sent to me to review and keep. I was so amazed and happy with the results that when the printer was finally released to the public I purchased a second and gave it to my sister as a present. You cant go wrong with this little jewel. Ive been spreading the word to all my friends. the picture quality is one of the best Ive ever seen. We have a laser color printer where I work and this little giant produces superior prints. One more thing...Amazon.Com has the best deal in town.

Greater than one weekThis printer was an absolute nightmare. It cant detect when theres paper, so every time you print you have to push the paper in, otherwise an error message pops up telling you to add paper. And if you push too hard, the printer jams. Im normally a pretty calm person, but dealing with this printer actually made me want to throw it out the window. Printing a 3 page essay took a good twenty minutes (for the reasons above) and sometimes even made me late for my classes. The printer wastes ink excessively on stupid alignment sheets that it coughs out whenever its turned on, which I wouldnt really mind that much if the ink wasnt so expensive. If youre looking for a printer, please dont consider this one.

> 3 dayEveryone else has had the same experience I have...just wish Id looked at the reviews first. The print cartridge is empty after printing 30 pages of light text; you have to hand-feed each page several times before it will take and the Alignment window pops up constantly. This is my first and last experience with HP printers. I called to complain and was offered a replacement for $135. No, thanks. Its back to reliable Canons for me.

> 3 dayhp incompetence: if you spend weeks dealing with alleged customer support (not one american!), filling out and submitting the same worksheet numerous times, THEN if you want replacement you have to give credit card so that they can charge you AGAIN for old printer if not returned within 15 days (and we all know how unreliable mdse shipments can be) or they can just lie and say it wasnt returned in time. They refuse to just provide mailing label for old printer to be returned before shipping new one. And so-called HP Service Partners are nothing more than SALES stores like WalMart that dont do repairs. I had same problem with paper feeder, buying different weights, etc. And dont even think of trying to online chat--nobody answers telephone, not that you could understand them anyhow. and their so-called tech support give you links that are incomplete, ie no address @???, so you know whether its hp.com or what

> 3 daySo, being a college student on a budget I was in desperate need of a printer for school. So I thought I would save myself some money and buy myself a printer. I have to admit I was a little weary of buying a used electronic for so cheap because I was afraid that someone was selling me a dud printer. But I decided to take the chance anyway because the price was unbeatable. It arrived the in the earlier end of the expected delivery date. I opened the box and found that the printer was really dirty. Obviously noone had used this printer in a while, so I took so wipes and cleaned it up. In the description it noted that it didnt come with ink, but I didnt remember a thing about it saying it didnt come with program disc, so when I saw a box just filled with cords and a printer, I was a little disappointed. Luckily HP is set up so you can just download the programs you need for your printer. Anyway, my main complaint would only be the program missing and how dirty it was when it arrived, either than that I am satisfied with the printer, and glad I took the chance of buying it :D.

> 3 dayi dont what everyone is talking about. I have had this printer for 5yrs and it still works wonderfully. It is not loud, prints amazingly clear, and is easy to use. It is a really nice printer, set up is easy, customer service is easy and small problems are easy to fix. I use it all the time. Ink isnt so expensive if you buy the refurbish types or refill yourself and i have never had any problems with that. hP printers are great and i just bought another one that i loved right away. The only reason i got rid of this one is because i wanted a wireless printer. This printer has moved more times in five years then any printer should and it has been bumped around, beat up, and subjected to more then an electronic device should and it still works great.
