> 3 dayYup, after our first cartridge change (I bought genuine HP cartridge), it would insist on printing a test page every time it is powered on. Also numerous feed problems. I bought this because of the HP name. Did a little research on the internet and lots of people have this problem, HP just doesnt give a sh@#t. No software or firmware fix, nothing. They got their money and the consumer is stuck. Worst of all the problem appears only after a while so by that time you cant return it. Never again, HP, never again.

> 3 dayThis printer was an absolute nightmare. It cant detect when theres paper, so every time you print you have to push the paper in, otherwise an error message pops up telling you to add paper. And if you push too hard, the printer jams. Im normally a pretty calm person, but dealing with this printer actually made me want to throw it out the window. Printing a 3 page essay took a good twenty minutes (for the reasons above) and sometimes even made me late for my classes. The printer wastes ink excessively on stupid alignment sheets that it coughs out whenever its turned on, which I wouldnt really mind that much if the ink wasnt so expensive. If youre looking for a printer, please dont consider this one.

> 3 dayThe HP Printer works great with my Laptop that uses Ubuntu 8.10 After purchasing the ink cartridges and connecting the printer the the laptop, the documents I had creat with Open Office came out just fine. The seller was good on their word, I just forgot to read the fine print where it said that ink cartridges were not included.

> 3 dayWhat a piece of crap. It wants to allign your cartridges every time you turn the computer on, you have to hand feed the paper, endless paper jams...my current problem is that it wont recognize its own ink cartridges so I cant print anything. I dont know what Im going to do when I start having to print MA papers & my masters thesis b/c even w/hand feeding paper, it will only print a 10 page document. I didnt realize it installed another user onto my computer until I started having problems w/my virus software & it started to kill the running time on my computer. The customer service stinks too. I will never buy anything from HP again.

> 3 daySo, being a college student on a budget I was in desperate need of a printer for school. So I thought I would save myself some money and buy myself a printer. I have to admit I was a little weary of buying a used electronic for so cheap because I was afraid that someone was selling me a dud printer. But I decided to take the chance anyway because the price was unbeatable. It arrived the in the earlier end of the expected delivery date. I opened the box and found that the printer was really dirty. Obviously noone had used this printer in a while, so I took so wipes and cleaned it up. In the description it noted that it didnt come with ink, but I didnt remember a thing about it saying it didnt come with program disc, so when I saw a box just filled with cords and a printer, I was a little disappointed. Luckily HP is set up so you can just download the programs you need for your printer. Anyway, my main complaint would only be the program missing and how dirty it was when it arrived, either than that I am satisfied with the printer, and glad I took the chance of buying it :D.

> 3 dayI bought this because i also had a 1000 series all-in-one a few years back and it worked great back in those days. Sadly this printer does not live up to its predecessors... like... not even close. Although printing speed is faster and the quality standard, its harder to use because the software is slow with confusing interface and takes up alot of memory for simple tasks. but the worst part is that, the paper wont even feed. and if it does it jams or takes a couple of paper in at the same time and prints all over them. each time i had to keep pressing resume about twice. never again with HP... im dissapointed. something so simple became so hard

10-06-2025This All- in- one is just right. Its price is great and the copies come out clear and sharp. Paper(s) feeds though with no problems, but I havent used the scanner as yet. For me this is just superb and I am in no hurry if the speed is not as fast as other models. This suits my purpose. As far as the ink goes I do agree that they can improve on this. It really is not enough ink and it does run out fast. But on the whole its a fine product.

> 3 dayI needed this printer to print some very important documents I needed to get to the bank, only to realize after unboxing it that there was no USB cable. I thought perhaps Id overlooked it so I searched the box but it wasnt there. It is listed in very small print on the side of the box that the USB cable is not included. So now I am left to go searching for a 2$ cord that HP couldnt be bothered to include. If the USB cable is not included at least make it obvious on the description of the product so we will know to get one beforehand

> 3 dayThis is a good all-in-one, especially for the price. Mine seems to print a little slower than other printers I have used. Overall, though, I am satisfied with it. Easy to set up, easy to use.
