> 3 dayHave not tried out the scan portion of the product. The copy and print portions operate perfectly with above excellent quality.

> 3 dayYup, after our first cartridge change (I bought genuine HP cartridge), it would insist on printing a test page every time it is powered on. Also numerous feed problems. I bought this because of the HP name. Did a little research on the internet and lots of people have this problem, HP just doesnt give a sh@#t. No software or firmware fix, nothing. They got their money and the consumer is stuck. Worst of all the problem appears only after a while so by that time you cant return it. Never again, HP, never again.

> 3 dayAlong with everyone elses issue ( eats ink cartridges like candy, paper jams, etc) Mine has a Hardware problem just shy of its 1st birthday. I changed the ink cartridges and now the ink carriage refuses to move from the right hand side. After spending about an hour online with a technical support person, I found out that I have a Hardware problem and it must be sent in to get fixed. Of course HP was HAPPY to provide that service for $89.95. No thanks. I paid $99 for this P.O.S. and I told them it was going into the trash.

> 3 dayI am so disappointed with this printer. I bought it online because it was very economically priced for an all-in-one that also had the flat bed scanner. If you read the other reviews, all of the problems people are talking about are true! This printer is practically new and after a few weeks (and I hardly used it) I noticed that the darn printer kept giving me errors that it couldnt detect the paper. Very frustrating when youre in a hurry and trying to scan important documents!! I absolutely hate this printer and Im going to return it and get something completely different. Shame on HP for making such a poor printer...

> 3 dayI should have adhered my own advice -- You get what you pay for. This printer seemed like a good value when we purchased it about a year ago. But it drinks ink like crazy...and we have spent hundreds of dollars in ink alone. I have tried to use off-brand ink cartridges, but the HP software will not recognize them and some will just not work unless it is the official HP brand cartridge. The paper feeder does not always work properly and often takes two or three sheets at a time. I like the copier function and have had no troubles with the scanner. While Im still using the printer for now, Im in the market for a new one. And price wont be the guiding factor anymore!

> 3 dayWhat a piece of crap. It wants to allign your cartridges every time you turn the computer on, you have to hand feed the paper, endless paper jams...my current problem is that it wont recognize its own ink cartridges so I cant print anything. I dont know what Im going to do when I start having to print MA papers & my masters thesis b/c even w/hand feeding paper, it will only print a 10 page document. I didnt realize it installed another user onto my computer until I started having problems w/my virus software & it started to kill the running time on my computer. The customer service stinks too. I will never buy anything from HP again.

> 3 dayThis machine is good for printing on the fly. The price is very cheap. Some troubles I had were the huge amount of disk space for some required programs (even the slimmed down version was 350mb). The ink cartridges run low very fast so this isnt recommended for high-volume work. Another down-side is that I purchased the 1510xi version, I dont think theres any difference, however photo cartridges are optional. Apparently, if you want photo quality, you have to buy and exchange the color ink cartridge that came in free. Given that there are only two slots for ink cartridges, youll have to change between the two for different purposes. Otherwise, top-quality device. HP & Canon are my top choices for printers.

> 3 dayIf only I had read these reviews before buying this piece of junk! It worked fine for a few months, but then it started sucking in multiple pieces of paper at a time, jamming and ruining print jobs. Ever since then Ive had to feed paper into the machine, one piece at a time, to get it to print. Then there was a whole month where the printer stopped working entirely, because it automatically downloaded an update online and did not install it completely. After deleting the printer and reinstalling it, it STILL didnt work, and only after a month did it finally start working again. Right now it stopped working on me again; this time its not recognizing print jobs, and the start button is blinking stupidly. I am sick of this unreliable piece of garbage. No matter how cheap it is, NO money is worth this frustration. The only redeeming feature is the scanner, but if you mainly need something to print, avoid it. Dont be suckered into wasting your money on this.

> 3 dayWe also made the mistake of purchasing an HP PSC 1510 printer, as we needed something cheap for occasional print jobs at home. After six weeks of paper jams, error messages, and lack of service, were finally throwing in the towel and buying something else. Ive had consistantly good results with HP in the past but they really blew it with this printer. I give it one star because it looks nice sitting idle on my desk, and because the non-stop flashing orange Check paper - check printer cartridge light adds a certain cheerfuless to my home office. Save yourself time, money, and irritation, and buy something else.

> 3 dayThis is my second - and last - HP printer. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. All of the other reviews mentioning paper feed issues are entirely true. You should also Google the phrase flashing lights PSC1510 if you want to read about another common problem. HP claims to have several fixes for these issues, but they always come down to bring your printer to an HP repair facility. Another review said it perfectly: HP has decided to put its efforts into selling ink cartridges rather than quality printers. HP used to be a mark of quality in my family; now its just another cheap, unreliable manufacturer. I have to imagine that the offices at HP use Brother or Kodak printers if they want to get any work done.
