> 3 dayOverall a great camera monitoring system. Range was tested up to 100 yds and worked with no issues with antenna up. The temp reading seems to be a bit higher (2-4 degrees) than actual ambient room temp. Purchased an additional camera to go with the system to be able to monitor 2 rooms, the scan feature of having the cameras automatically switch between is a great feature as well is the ability to talk through the camera. The only CON that I can see is wireless devices in the area can cause a drop in signal to either the camera or the base station. But if you move the monitor or camera away from any WIFI devices a few feet seems to mitigate the issue.

> 3 dayWe have 2 cameras and one monitor for our two kids. We love the monitor especially for the talk function where we can talk back and forth with our toddler through the monitor with this camera. Using a second camera while maintaining only 1 monitor has been very convenient for us. We have been very impressed with the customer service. We had an issue with our power cord to the camera, and they replied very promptly to us and rectified the situation very well. This camera (along with the monitor) is definitely worth the price both in function and customer service if anything is needed in the future.

02-12-2024I love this camera/monitor for my kids. I just bought a second camera for my second baby. The quality is great and I love that I know the temperature in the room. It’s also nice that you can put the screen on sleep but still have sound. Pairing an extra camera is very easy and the monitor switches between the two cameras every few seconds if you put it on scan. Super helpful since it doesn’t do a split screen. The monitor beeps when it can’t connect to the camera and when it’s running low on battery. Our power went out in the middle of winter in the middle of the night and it woke me immediately beeping because it couldn’t connect to the camera. We were able to bring the baby to our room, start a fire and prep the generator while the house was still warm. It got down to 20 degrees that night. Thankful my baby didn’t get cold.

> 3 dayThis product is wonderful. I have been using it for three months. It allows me to see my child during the day and at night in his room. We bought this camera to use with the Infant Optics monitor we have for the camera in our daughters room. It was very easy to sync this camera with the monitor we already had. And the monitor is easy to operate between both cameras. We use the original lens that came with this camera since we are viewing a baby in his crib. It is perfect or keeping an eye on him. The night vision works well. I have not had any issues with this camera. It rotates around the room when buttons are pushed on the monitor. So, I am able to move the camera if my baby moves. I am also able to talk through the monitor to my baby. The speaker on the monitor and camera are very clear. Please feel free to select below whether this review was helpful to you.

> 3 dayInfant Optics is the best in customer service! I got this baby monitor as a gift for my shower after putting it on my registry based on the reviews. I used it for a little over a year (and loved it!) before the night vision on the camera unit stopped working. I was frustrated because I was just about to buy a second camera unit to use for my second child. I emailed support to help me troubleshoot the issue, and after trying various solutions, nothing had worked. We realized that it wasn’t something I could fix from home, but I was out of the warranty period. Even so, they offered to replace my camera unit (at no cost to me) as a courtesy. The customer service agent was super accommodating and the interaction was very positive. I would definitely recommend their products to everyone!

> 3 dayUPDATED REVIEW------ This video monitor system works great, until it doesnt (we have two cameras and one monitor). My original review reflects that we had to exchange the first camera, and I thought it was a one-off issue, but now Im no longer happy with the overall quality of this system. It was difficult to decide how to rate this, because as long as the system works, it really is great, but the fact that 2 cameras failed within their first year due to different reasons, bumped the rating down to 2 stars for me. One camera stopped being able to move down, the other stopped working in night mode (so you couldnt see anything in the room and were basically back to an audio monitor). Its a hassle to exchange if you dont have a second monitor set as a backup, because you will be out of a baby monitor for a week or so while the defective unit is mailed back, received, and a new one is sent back to you. I awarded one star for a system that we loved as long as it did work and a second star for customer service (we contacted Infant Optics directly and they were very nice and helpful) that honors their promise to exchange the broken cameras (though we did have to pay for shipping back for any defective units). Overall though, I would expect the video monitor system to just work — especially with a baby or children in the house, Id rather not have to worry about equipment working and dealing with exchanges and the inconvenience of not having the video monitor while we wait for replacement. Sadly, I cannot recommend this system, which is too bad because if the cameras worked 100% of the time, this would easily be a 4 to 5 star product. ORIGINAL REVIEW------ PROS: • can be operated remotely to swivel and turn • good picture quality even in the dark • mounts easily (flush against the wall or standing up, long cable) • sleek look • great customer service • far reaching video signal (though see CONS note below) • can add multiple cameras to cover many rooms CONS: • camera stopped moving down (manufacturer replaced for free (we had to pay shipping of defective unit), easy return process) • signal reaches far but has a few trouble spots within the house, even close to the bedroom We have two cameras and one corresponding video monitor. The quality of the video feed is good and the image shows up well even when the room is dark. The best feature of the camera is its ability to swivel and turn, which you can operate remotely from the monitor — we have a crib and a big kid bed in one of the bedrooms, so its nice to be able to move between the two easily without having to adjust the camera angle manually. The camera signal reaches pretty far — were able to be out and about in the yard without ever losing contact. However, there are some trouble spots within the house, even very close to the bedroom with the camera, so we do have to move the monitor to a better spot frequently (by now weve figured out the best places to get a good signal in the house, it just takes a bit of trial and error). The camera is easy to mount to the wall — we just hung it from a nail and it sits flush and straight against the wall, but you can also just stand it up. When our newborn baby was still in our room, I simply taped the bottom of the camera to our bed post with a command strip and that held up perfectly. The cable is a good length, too, so you have some flexibility as to where to mount it relative to an outlet. The white color fits well with the rest of our white furniture and light gray walls, so the camera blends in pretty well with the rest of the room. We actually had an issue when one of our cameras stopped moving down after about 6-7 months of owning it — all the other directions worked, but it could not move to angle further down. We contacted the manufacturer and they sent us a new one — great customer service. Both cameras still going strong (both the original one that came with the monitor and the replacement one). Overall we really like this camera and monitor system.

> 3 dayThis is an exact match for the original infant optics camera that came with the monitor we bought for our first child. It looks a little silvery in the picture, but the camera is white with a white cord, which makes it easy to blend into our white walls. This is one of the few cameras that has pan-tilt motors built in, and also 2 zoom settings, microphone, and two-way audio. We have been very happy with the Infant Optics system with our first son (in use for 2 years) and now with our second son and the add-on camera (in use for 1 month). Following the instructions it was very easy to pair with our existing monitor. There is no split screen/audio option. Instead, we can choose which camera will be displayed or to cycle between all cameras on 10 second intervals. Also, if you have the original camera, check the range of where you will be installing the new camera. I dont think its related to this camera itself, but our 2nd crib is right on the threshold of the range from our bed. As such, there is some delay in both directions and the audio/video cuts in and out regularly. But we have thick walls, and the bed is around 3 corners and a solid wood door.
