> 3 dayVery easy to add onto my current camera and monitor set up i purchased previously for our first child in 2017. The whole system is great. The night vision is good (not super great if over 7ft away because it gets a little grainy), the sound is great (I personally keep mine running on low and plugged in all night so I can hear my toddler who is on a different level of our home) and the talk feature is awesome. I love being able to flip through the different cameras or have it just stay on one all night. Very easy to set up and use. I had an issue with my power cord and the customer service is AWESOME. They will communicate with you over the phone, chat, text or email. I chose email and had an answer within 12 hour and a resolution just as quickly. No cost replacement of my power cord and it came within 2 days. Great experience all around. Good product good company, happy customer. End of story!

> 3 dayGood system. All around happy with this purchase. We scan between two kids and everything functions as described. My only caution/complaint is the temperature function. The thermometer attached to each camera is way off. It overstates the temperature in our kids’ rooms by 4-5 degrees. Here we were trying to cool their rooms to a comfortable sleeping temperature and then wondering why the rooms and our kids were uncomfortably cold. Once we put Google Nest sensors in the rooms and saw the real temperature in there, we realized these cameras were to blame. I’m not sure if the camera thermometer is just bad tech or if the camera emits enough heat to affect the thermometer, but either way, they are unreliable.

> 3 dayObviously buying a baby camera is always worrisome. I Had one camera that had to be returned because the wire that supplied the power made a humming noise and I felt that it was unsafe, I had no issue with a return and they sent me another camera. I have 2 cameras and i would definitely but the cameras again. I highly recommend the wide Lens it is worth the money. I bought both lenses for my cameras. As for distance on the camera the babies room is on the right side of the house on the second floor, I have walked to my neighbors house and been inside his house and still had reception I did have to put the antenna up on the unit. If I stand on the opposite side of my neighbors house I would estimate that this is a total of 30-40 yards from the far side of my house to the far side of my neighbors house and I still had reception.

> 3 dayI would definitely recommend this camera. However, my only complaint is that the green light (which helps with the night vision and serves as a light sensor) is on the bottom of the camera. As a result, if you have the camera perched up high looking down on your little one, it means that less ambient light will pass through the camera forcing it into Black/White mode rather than color. Its not a big deal as you can still see clearly, but id like to see the color screen during naps and Black/White at night time. This is a minor gripe though as the camera sends a very clear picture. In addition, we have not experienced any problems with reception, which is always good news. Previously, we had an old version of the Summer Infant monitor and camera. The summer infant was more expensive and a bit higher quality but this is a good value and gets similar functionality.

> 3 dayThis was an add on camera for my second child. I had a small issue with the charger on my first camera (it made a high pitched noise), and Infant Optics sent me a replacement charger. After approximately 6 months with the second camera, it started to get difficult to see my son in the dark; it still worked fine if the room was well lit. It gradually got worse and worse until we couldnt see him at all anymore with night vision. I contacted Infant Optics and they were great about sending me a replacement camera. My only issue is that I had to pay return shipping, and had to send the camera back before they sent a new one, so I was without a camera for a couple days. They did provide expedited shipping, so the new camera came quickly.

02-12-2024I have had several different brands of baby monitors in the past 4 years and this one is by far my favorite. It has all of the abilities that are important to me in a bay monitor...pan-tilt-zoom, the ability to toggle between several rooms, temperature gauge, the ability to be speak from the parent unit to the camera, great battery life etc. I had this unit for a little over a year when the power button stopped working. I called Infant Optics and they went through the troubleshooting process with me and determined that it needed to be replaced. I was technically a month out out of the warranty, but the customer service representative who helped me with this case was kind enough to replace it for free anyways. She was even able to get me expedited 2-day shipping (worth about $10) for free and I got my replacement unit extremely quickly, which is important when you want to be able to see and hear your children. I have honestly never had a better experience with customer service from any company before. The woman I spoke to truly went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I can say without any hesitation that I would highly recommend this product and this company!

> 3 dayWe purchased this as a second camera for our Infant Optics DXR-8. It’s very easy to add cameras with this system. The picture and sound quality is excellent, and we can easily keep an eye on the kids via the monitor from all parts of house, including the basement. The range even includes our back patio. The battery life is much better than our previous monitor, which always needed to be plugged in after an hour or so. We did have an issue with the night vision degrading significantly after almost a year of use. However, the Infant Optics customer service rep I worked with was very understanding and replaced both our cameras, even the one we had lost the receipt for. After going to battle with a different manufacturer over our last monitor, I have to say it was a breath of fresh air to have a company simply do the right thing. We’re very satisfied with our purchase.

> 3 dayI absolutely LOVE this camera setup! Before this I had tried two different types that have to go through the internet and pair with your phone- awful! The reception where I live sucks so maybe that had something to do with it, I don’t know, but it was a nightmare trying to pair them, operate, etc. So I tried this brand realizing “why do I need to see my baby via my cell phone? I’m not leaving her alone at home.” OMG, SO SIMPLE to set this up and use and it NEVER fails! The camera bought prompting this review was the second addition so I could have one upstairs and one downstairs. It paired with the original monitor in seconds, the Home Screen and operating buttons are clear and intuitive to use- zero guess work in operating it, and the cameras rotate a lot so you’ve got plenty of wiggle room to get the best view. Love the whole thing!

> 3 daywe originally purchased a monitor and camera for our first child. We then bought another camera. SO easy to add and the monitor has 2 settings for multiple cameras, 1) you can select the OK button to switch between the cameras or 2) press and hold OK to enable a scan mode and the monitor will automatically switch between cameras after a couple seconds. Additional positive feedback/2+ year review, we had our monitor acting funny/sometimes wouldnt hold a full charge, maybe it was the way we connected it. I emailed them and they swapped our monitor out after showing proof we sent it back - we did have to pay to ship it back. We love this product and would highly recommend it. We have had friends purchase it and also love it. You can also mount the camera to the wall for when the kiddos grow and can reach the camera.
