    I got this monitor because our other broke shortly before our second baby arrived. I was so happy with how much better quality the picture was than with our previous camera which was terrible! I also loved being able to have multiple cameras for the monitor. Everything was going perftly until late week the monitor stopped working. I was a little annoyed, naturally. But when I reached out to customer service they were quick to tak me through the process to get a replacement shipped out! They were amazing. I just received the replacement today and I’m so happy to have it back. I highly recommend this monitor. The quality is amazing and you can’t beat the customer service!

    Our old monitors (Summer Infant Touch) were humming loudly and getting irritating. Having 3 kids in 3 separate rooms, we needed to replace the monitors and didnt want the hassle of dealing with multiple monitors like we had done for the past few years. The DXR-8s scan mode allows us to have an individual camera in each room sending a video and audio feed to a single monitor for us to monitor. It is so convenient. The scan mode rotates between rooms throughout the night and gives us peace of mind. The shortcut button is also wonderful for quick adjustments during the middle of the night. The picture quality is great and the audio is clear--plus there is little feedback! We are certainly pleased with our new purchase, which we made after a considerable amount of research. We see now why the DXR-8 received such great reviews from so many reviewers and websites.

    We bought our first monitor for our son two years ago. We never realized the infrared sensor was not working and therefore, the night vision was poor. We thought it was just the system, so we stuck with it in order to avoiding purchasing a whole new monitor system with a different brand. Our second son was born recently and we purchased an add-on camera. We couldn’t believe the difference in quality. We called the company and that was when we realized the sensor must have come damaged with our original camera. However, since the one year warrantee had lapsed, they could offer us a 50% discount for a replacement. Customer services was quick and responsive. We did need to buy a separate zoom lens and battery replacement (with a much longer life), as well as a wall mount.     This monitor and camera system has been a life saver since I bought the first camera back in December 2018. I have recently purchased an add on camera for a second baby. It was simple to figure out how to configure the new camera to the monitor, which is good because as a mom with two babies under 2, I don’t have a lot of extra time on my hands. I did have a small issue with my original camera, but it was covered by warranty and their excellent customer service rep was able to help me exchange it quickly. She even followed up with me when I hadn’t responded to her email after a few days. I can’t say enough about the customer service! I was in contact with the same person from start to finish and she was very friendly and helpful.

    This is a very good monitor. I have twins and the best part about it is that is automatically scans between cameras (I bought a second camera). It was super easy to set up and also very easy to use. After using it for about 6 months, the power cord wasnt connecting well with the monitor. It wouldnt charge unless I held it close and wrapped it around the monitor multiple times. I called Infant Optics to explain the situation. They immediately replaced the monitor without any hassle. Their policy is to send your old one in first and then get the new one sent. I asked if they could send me the new one first since I really needed a monitor with my twins! They were super accommodating and the new monitor works perfectly. The only reason it isnt 5 stars is that one of our cameras makes a slight buzzing sound. The other one doesnt though, so it isnt a flaw with all the cameras. It still works perfectly fine, it just is a slightly annoying sound!

    This is our second purchase of these cameras. We bought one for our daughter and an add on camera when our son was born. We love it and it’s easy to use. We like that it does not require Wi-Fi. Great quality product. We are able to scan from camera to camera to view our children at night. Sound quality is great too.

    Weve been using this monitor for a few days now in our toddlers room and so far we really like it. Some of the best features so far are the fact that the lowest brightness level on the parent handset screen is pleasantly low so it doesnt blind you when looking at it in the dark at night; the camera pan and tilt gives a great view of almost all of our sons bedroom; the controls on the parent handset are intuitive and easy to use; the volume control has low enough levels for use at night time, again so it doesnt jolt you awake in the middle of the night when our son makes a small noise. This is a definitely upgrade from our previous baby monitor, and we are looking forward to using it in our new babys room as well.

    We purchased this as a second camera for our Infant Optics DXR-8. It’s very easy to add cameras with this system. The picture and sound quality is excellent, and we can easily keep an eye on the kids via the monitor from all parts of house, including the basement. The range even includes our back patio. The battery life is much better than our previous monitor, which always needed to be plugged in after an hour or so. We did have an issue with the night vision degrading significantly after almost a year of use. However, the Infant Optics customer service rep I worked with was very understanding and replaced both our cameras, even the one we had lost the receipt for. After going to battle with a different manufacturer over our last monitor, I have to say it was a breath of fresh air to have a company simply do the right thing. We’re very satisfied with our purchase.

    We’ve gone through three of these monitors in three years. The first one didn’t hold a charge after a few months of use. The second, same issue. We ordered a replacement battery, it still wouldn’t stay charged and always had to be attached to the wall charger. The third has worked better for us, however often drops the signal in our home. Very annoying, especially when we get the ‘out of signal range’ beep over and over in the middle of the night, when we’re right next to our kids’ room. Overall, I’m happy with the monitor - picture quality is good and I like the fact that you can have multiple cameras. Also like that I can talk through the monitor. Just a few small (annoying) bugs that may need to be worked out.

    I bought this add on camera to go with my monitor that I was already using for my daughter, and this camera did not have the same picture quality as the one that came with the monitor. We tried to move it to different places all over the room, and nothing was helping the picture quality. It was very blurry and very pixilated. I contacted customer service, and I had to provide them with my proof of our purchase and a picture of the serial number of the camera, and send it back, and they are currently sending me a new camera. They even upgraded the shipping to two day shipping for me instead of having me wait the normal 5-7 business days. It was very easy to contact customer service and the representative that helped me couldn’t have been nicer. I hope this new camera will work better than the one I am sending back!
