> 24 hourThis is the lense that should come with the camera. If you plan to mount the camera over the crib. You want this lense unless you want to mount the camera 6’ up on the wall... With this lense we can see the whole crib with the camera mounted about 1.5’ above the crib rail.

> 24 hourBought a couple of these now that my little one is a toddler which called for an additional camera and wider view of their room and the living room/play area. Honestly, Infant Optics should include the standard lens and this one when you buy the baby monitor set instead the zoom lens. You already have the ability to zoom in on the monitor so a dedicated zoom lens is not needed, the wide angle lens however should be standard fare when you initially purchase the camera, or just bump the price up and include all three.

> 24 hourIt’s a lens. What does it ask about battery life for? I love it. Does it’s job well.

> 24 hourThis is as described, the wide angle is great for the mounting option I have for the camera allowing me to see the whole bassinet from a close distance. My only gripe is that the camera comes with a regular and zoom lens for some reason in the box and this wide angle one is a separate purchase.

> 24 hourThe ultra wide lense in nothing is clear at all. It’s better to stick with the original and pan around the room as needed.

> 24 hourThis is one of the best $11 purchases I’ve ever made. You can see the entire room with this lens if the camera’s put at the right spot. We put this in our sons’ bedroom when we moved them into the same room so we could see both beds, and now I want to put one in our playroom also. It’s a really, really nice add-on to the monitor at an awesome price point.

> 24 hourWe use this camera system to keep an eye on dog in his various beds when we are upstairs in bed so we know if he needs to go out. The normal view from these cameras is so zoomed in that you cannot see much area. I guess it is meant to really be zoomed in on a baby in a crib. But these wide angle lenses make it so you can see much more of the room and work perfectly for us.

> 24 hourSo far we are extremely happy with the new monitor. We purchased the hand unit and 2 cameras. I like that when toggling between rooms you can hear the sound in the room being shown. Many monitors that toggle do not offer that feature. Only issue we have had is that when you add the separate lens that can be purchased for 11$ the night vision does not work and nothing can be see on hand unit. But other then that its a great purchase and worth the $$!

> 24 hourI bought this lens right away when I originally bought our camera - our daughter was just over a year and still confined to her crib. When showing my husband, he thought this extra lens would be a waste of money. We are now expecting #2, so we purchased a second camera when the price dropped; and have been using it with the wide lens in the living room for when we need to run to the basement to do laundry and our 2 year old is watching a movie or reading her books. It gives peace of mind that shes not getting into something she shouldnt be when we are out of the room for a few minutes. The wide lens is fantastic for toddlerhood. In fact my husband has now asked me to get a second lens so we can have one for each camera. It went from useless, waste of money to hey we should get a second one. So even if you dont use it right away, it is very handy for when your toddler starts playing independently. It allows you to view the whole room without having to scan the camera to find where your child is hiding.

> 24 hourThe wide lens isnt that much wider than the standard. So Im not sure that I would have ordered it had I known. The night vision isnt truly night vision. You still need a significant amount of light to see anything in the dark. Maybe in the home setting it is fine. But I use it in my goat barn during kidding season to watch for babies being born. I have to leave all the lights on in the barn to see anything after dark.
