> 3 dayScrews in easily. Works perfectly. I can see half the room - not just the bed. Great for toddler no longer contained in crib. Night vision has a hot spot dead center and the periphery is darker. Zoom still works so if I need a crib only view i can get it.

> 3 dayI got this lens since my daughter is now a toddler and we needed view of her entire room. The night vision wasn’t working so I contacted customer service. I had read older versions had bad night vision but they had fixed the issue. Thankfully their customer service is top notch and they resolved the issue. Night vision works now. It isn’t the greatest clarity but it does the job well enough. I’m happy with their system as a whole.

> 3 dayThis fit our monitor perfectly! We just transitioned our daughter from her crib to her big girl bed and wanted to be able to monitor more of the room to see where she goes if she gets up. This is the perfect lens switch for the monitor. This is our second monitor (we had a Motorola first) and I would recommend it to anyone not looking for a wifi monitor.

> 3 dayIt makes the night vision absolutely TERRIBLE! We liked it in daytime so we swapped it off our LO’s nursery camera and onto the playroom camera (since it’s only used in daylight/overheard light on). We also have both models of the camera and it’s just as bad on both!

> 3 dayI wish I would have listened to the reviews! I have no idea how this lens gets 5 stars. We just purchased the Infant Optics - DXR-8 PRO & needed a wide angle lens. Upon receiving the lens, we hooked it up with ease & the clarity was like looking through a Motorola Razr Flip Phone from 2005. It’s beyond me how a company that makes a wonderful baby monitor, with up to date technology, is still stuck in the early 2000’s in picture clarity with a simple wide angle lens. And to top it off, the night vision was horrendous- you could see absolutely nothing but a bright white glare. It was like watching TV static. It’s a good thing this lens is only $11, because it’s completely unimpressive & a major let down. I would be embarrassed if I were Infant Optics, producing & putting my name on such a lackluster lens. We just ended up buying a $16 camera mount with a flexible arm that holds the camera above the crib & it solved all of our “wide angle” needs. Please listen to these 1 star reviews…they’re absolutely true!! This product isn’t worth any time or money spent!!

> 3 dayIt’s a lens. What does it ask about battery life for? I love it. Does it’s job well.

> 3 dayThis was such a great purchase. I spent most of my night chasing my 12 month old around the crib using the regular lens. Now I can be a paranoid mother easier by just glancing over and seeing where he is and how he is sleeping!

21-11-2024I tried different cameras and apps and many of them had some issues of their own. From not enough signal strength to issues with the WI FI. This system has NONE of those issues or concerns. It has worked marvelously and this lens has been extremely helpful. Very easy to install in the camera. Your pleased with the system works as designed. You are thrilled when it makes a very difficult task easier for those who we care about. This lens is ideal for widening the view of a room and you can zoom in. Simple, but effective.

> 3 dayLook no further...this is the best baby monitor Weve tried. The sound quality is great with no feedback issues, and the picture is clear. I especially like the option of changing camera lenses to fit each room. My son is almost 3 and does not always stay in his bed at nap time, so I like that I can pan the room and see what kind of trouble he may be getting into! Overall Im very satisfied with this monitor. This is our third try (had a Motorola and babies r us prior) and by far the best one! Dont waste time on other monitors, this one is worth every cent!
