> 3 daySuction seems good on a vinyl floor. We have tons of pet hair and it gets it. Seems to hit every area. Gets easily hung up by the overhang of our stairs and then asks me to move it to new location, which is a little annoying. It’s not whisper quiet while vacuuming but when it goes to the base and empties itself it’s very loud for about 5 seconds. If you’re not home, who cares! Still an amazing feature well worth the extra $.

> 3 dayThis series is the only few vacuum robots that are not made in China and doesn’t have a camera spying on you. It can also cross thresholds reliably.

> 3 dayI figured after the length of time this thing has been around most of the bugs would be worked out. Apparently not. I would not recommend if you have a lot of furniture or throw rugs. This may work well for large empty rooms but not much else. Constantly needs brushes cleaned (mostly long hair) and in the middle of certain rugs just detects a drop off and stops. Once you move it to new location near where it was it loses its ability to detect where it is and abandons the job. Cant finish 4 rooms without recharging first, even though I assume thats because of some throw rugs and bumping into things 100s of times. I can understand chairs and things that can move around and be a problem but walls and things like washers and dryers are pretty stationary. Oh well, gave it a try to see where the technology was and apparently they have a long way to go. Dont waste your money.

> 3 daySome online review says, this is the same Vaccum as i7 or i6 except the camera. It probably is the case but the difference in performance is huge… this has gotten stuck over the edges of a cliff a couple of times (did not fall) and 1 out of 5 times it cannot find its way back home. That’s why 1 less star. Does excellent job with dog hair, sharp sucks comparatively. Battery life is superb… Lastly do not buy Amazon warehouse deals… the i6 I bought from warehouse deals has gone useless after 3 months because it won’t even start.

20-11-2024I expected this to be at least as good as my other 5 year old robot vacuum, but this is much much worse. First of all it is super loud. I was trying to watch tv in my apartment, and even with the volume way up, couldnt hear anything over the vacuum. Second of all, when i finally decided to shut it off and put it back on charging station, it asked me if i wanted it to empty itself, and i said yes. I activated another super loud function: emptying, but after waking up all my neighbors for few minutes, it finally gave up and said its clogged. The last straw was when i wanted it to clean a specific area, but the app doesnt have that functionality. I physically have to pick it up and place it into the mess i want it to clean up. Might as well get a normal vacuum cleaner. Cant believe my 5 year old robot vacuum could do all that quietly and nicely, while this expensive pos is being sold today.

Greater than one weekThis product is probably good for the average user, however, for me, it just doesn’t work. My American Eskimo shed so much that the vacuum can’t pick it up.

> 3 dayWanted to get this to help manage dog hair in my tiny apartment. It does an okay job on wood/hard floors but is pretty lacking even with a low-pile rug. What’s more disappointing is how often this thing gets stuck, which is literally every time I use it. It will get stuck behind doors, under tables, under the couch, under the bed. If there’s somewhere it can get stuck, it will, and even when you try to help it out, it either goes right back and gets stuck again or just will fritz out and stop working until you carry it back to the dock. Would not recommend this model.

> 3 dayThis vacuum with the auto empty is nice. The gotcha that I would advise is make sure you have 2.4 ghz wifi. This will not work with new 5ghz It was a bear to get connected to wifi and the app will auto disconnect that requires me to restart my phone for it to work. It does a great job cleaning and the empty feature is also awesome. My son has a previous model roomba and same issues. I have a Samsung vacuum upstairs and had no connection issues. That is the most frustrating part of this. I open the app and sometimes it just works and I kick off the vacuum other times the only way to fix is to reboot my phone- I have Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra. But have found many others with same issue by googling. It took me 2 hrs to get the vacuum to connect during setup. I found the trick to finally be a factory reset on the vacuum that let it connect to.my wifi - I have both 5 and 2.4 with smart detect. I even broke those out created separate ones changed connection types it was a bear. And something surprising for how long they have been around - didnt face any connection issue setting my Samsung vacuum on same connections though

Greater than one weekThis is my first iRobot but third Robot-Vacuum. So far, I’m very pleased. Once it maps the house it’s off. Best part is I don’t have to remember to empty the bin.
